I've Played 30+ Hours of Cyberpunk 2077 – Here's What I Thought

I’ve played A LOT of Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s what I’ve thought of my experience playing Cyberpunk 2077 so far. Does it live up to the hype? Is it one of the best RPGS ever? Is it game of the year? Let’s find out.

  1. I've been seeing a lot of reviews saying the game is short. IT IS NOT SHORT.
Skyrim's main story is short, but that doesn't mean that the entire game is short. Same applies to Cyberpunk. You won't finish everything in the game in a week. I think this game lives up to the hype, at least in my opinion.

  2. Don't NPCs supposedly react to you differently, more positive or negative, based on your appearance I thought I'd heard? So another angle for the armor to be matched instead of just doing the max stat thing.

  3. There is a lot of reviews in internet, and a lot of different negative opinions about the graphics, history, performance, hours to finish, the city, etc…
I just dont care….. its going to be perfect for me, RPG open world with hundreds of hours!!! Witcher 3 had to much bugs in the beggining and a lot of negative opinions like cyberpunk and I loved it!
Just one thing that I dont like too much in cyberpunk is the blurry image, its kinda strange… hope that future mods will give a better graphics in this fantastic game (sorry for my english XD)

  5. Really buggy as it stands, haven't received day one patch yet far as I know. So far I've had my car enter the backrooms equivalent after clipping through the road, first cyber psycho got stuck in concrete stairs, textures are abysmal (on the same xbox one I got for Christmas close to launch, so that's definitely to note) and I'm honestly really upset that V has underwear on even when you remove pants, weird gripe, absolutely, but I wanted to streak like you do in saints row and lead NCPD on a naked goose chase. Many smaller things bug wise, and more polishing and optimizing is needed, but I'm liking it. Worth the wait and hype? Yet to be seen, but I know others will be dissatisfied solely because they were expecting some iPhone 69 mega deluxe style revolution, the likes have never been realized in any field.

  6. After 5 hours I'm requesting a refund. I paid with fully functional money but did not get a fully functional game. I could not hack robots regardless of what I did. I'll buy it much later, when they sort it out, for half price. Too much hype and it under delivered. Driving was bad. Combat was janky. An unpleasant experience.

  7. I’ve put over 8 hours and I’m on Xbox one first gen. So far what I don’t like is conversation choices mean nothing really. You are bottlenecked into progressing one direction. The character creator is crap.

Everything for me aside from those is fantastic. Graphics, story, combat, map, and everything else has been awesome! I’m running a melee build with no issues at all. I have had a blast killing npcs to where I accidentally hit someone in a public area and everyone turned on me and I had a war zone on top of me and I had to duck and cover and fight as if it was real life. People ran up on me and I had to really fight.

The map is huge! The skills to choose from is wide open and two people will not have the same cookie cutter skill set. The skills also really matter too! Overall the game is fantastic especially when you compare it to the junk we’ve been getting from gaming companies lately.

Also voice acting is phenomenal! Love Johnny Silverhand!

  8. I want dual machine guns.

Anyways, Melee weapons get pretty amazing according to a couple people I watched. It is definitely a "need to level up before it gets good" thing on it.
