  1. God this is so soft. Listen to the announcers. “A pointless hit with a minute to go” they’re down 1 and he was trying to stop him from scoring on an open net. It’s a hockey play. Don’t like It then go play soccer you fairies.

  2. Penalty = yes. Charging 5 minutes. Unusual = no. Announcers = full-o-shat. If it becomes a a stick on stick check only, where's the D player's body supposed to go? Where's his stick supposed to check the O player stick with a puck already along the goal line? Neither of those is a possible play considering the D player and his speed. Turn it around, if Evans bailed on that dropping to the ice sending Scheifele flying in the air into the boards, would the announcer say, "well, it was Scheifele's fault for not trying to use a stick check?" Let's not forget this is Hockey people, we do not want or need none of that woke, knee, squat when you pee stuff.

  3. Question (not knowing the rules)…..I am hearing that it was a clean hit but shouldn't have happened because it was the end of the game…..is that close?
If it was a clean hit then it's a clean hit, you play to the end.

  5. How is this a penalty? Seems like a good solid hit on a player who had his head down. There was no shoulder contact to the face. These sorts of follow through hits happen all the time after the puck leaves with opposing player's stick. If the Montreal player would have gotten up right away there would be no issue here.

  6. The only thing I hate about my team Montreal is that they don't stand up for their players. Someone needed to break a stick across Scheifele's face. Another example, Kreider takes Price out of the Playoffs in 2014, we should have f$#@ed up their goalie too. GET EVEN, the league won't handle it so you have to.
