  1. He was never meant to go 3rd overall. He was projected 14th or so, that being said Montreal needed a centerman so it is what it is. Hard to expect so much out of him, I think he is exactly what he is… he won't be an elite level player like people might think

  2. The one thing I'll say in his defense is that this season, there has been a LOT of line juggling, and there was a period of games where Kotkaniemi had good linemates and was playing well. Hopefully he can come to play in the playoffs this year like he did last year!

  3. I miss his rookie season when he was 18 he was playing so well, I think last year his confidence got crushed and he regained it in the playoffs but idk man

  4. KK is very disappointing at times. Some games he looks like he could be a great player and others he looks less than ordinary. Stall must come out of the lineup. Any problem is with, only problem who do replace him with?

  5. Ask any Québécois about Renaud Lavoie they’re all gonna tell you. He is the worst french hockey analyst of all. You shouldn’t based your opinion on what this clown has to say.
Also, KK did well with some linemates such as tatar and Danault but Ducharme keep changing the line every minute and keep making him play with 3rd Liners so to be honest i don’t think it’s really is fault.
