CNBC’s Jim Cramer, marking the end of earnings season, on Friday said the slate of major corporate reports over the past weeks were “far better than anyone expected.”
The results revealed, he said, that investors have a range of investment opportunities, barring any speculative trading that has lately confounded Wall Street professionals.
The comments come after major U.S. averages rose in Friday’s session, turning in back-to-back weeks of gains that took the market to new highs. The Dow Jones Industrial Average moved 1% higher this week to close at 3,458.40 and the S&P 500 increased 1.23% to 3,934.83. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite outgained bot, climbing 1.7% higher to 14,095.47.
After the close, Cramer said market activity has become less volatile after multiple weeks of high-volume trading.
“I like normal, because if we’re not careful, a good portion of this market might be headed down the highway to the danger zone,” the “Mad Money” host said. “A day with less froth, like today, is a day where the rally feels more sustainable. But if the cannabis cohort and the short-busters and the incredible pumping and dumping I am seeing on the web is coming back, well you know I’m going to have to get more negative.”

Being human it's not surprising that at 62 years of age and numerous gatherings with friends to drink a beer, collectively we've discussed but never solved the world's problems! You think by now we'd have it figured out! Somebody, please speak to the following. My observation is through technology and automation we are rapidly eliminating the need for human labor. I've never agreed that people are capable of doing whatever they put their minds too. We are all gifted with different abilities and our life's work is to contribute where we have the aptitude and gifts to do so! That said, with technology, many jobs are now a global marketplace! How do we produce meaningful, good jobs for our US population? Young people working as cashiers in grocery stores teaches among other things, people interactions. 10 checkouts require 10 cashiers…no duh! One person can manage 8 automated checkouts. Do the math!!! I know a grocery store manager that didn't want self-checkouts installed for customer service reasons. He was over-ruled at the top!
Charles Koch in his book "Believe in People" states, "I had an epiphany when I was 28. Progress happens from the bottom up. Bottom up is not a statement of where people start, or a description of a specific socioeconomic status, but rather a vision of what every individual can do working with others. This includes those who start with many advantages – like me – as well as those who start with little or nothing. All of us have a role to play in improving our country.
Bottom up tends to work better for a simple reason. When people are empowered, they find solutions to the problems they are closest to, as they have the proximity and knowledge to do so. For this reason, the most important contributions often come from those who are over-looked or dismissed. The effective solutions to society's most pressing problems frequently spring from what might seem the most unlikely of places and then spread as others see their effectiveness."
Oh!!! His mission is to lie and get paid by those he pumps
I only watch this to do the opposite of what Jim says.
You make people lose money Cramer, shame on you
Hysr and schmid are now one group. How's this going to help hysr stock
One name: Dark Pulse Inc.
I see why so many people say Cramer. Always quarter backing. He act like he knows about stocks AFTER the fact.

Why did You stopposting Jim Cramersnshow?
I really like Jim, but Oxy has gone up 150% since he declared it was a SELL. He has since said to sell numerous times even as it moved up and up. How do I know when I can trust Jim and when I cannot trust Jim. I'd say it's about 50/50 so far. That's not good. Thank God I didn't sell it.
