Jinx definitely feels like a fusion of Harley and Joker. She uses the same kind of language as Harley, as well as a very similar attitude, but the with agency, independent thinking and 'completely off her rocker' mental illness of the Joker. On top of all that, she doesn't come off as a cartoonish. Her story feels consistent and her choices, and the outcomes of those choices, follow a logical structure.

I love so many things about this scene. I love how badass Jinx looks with the mask, how she interrogates her, the old film filter and Vi’s eyes in the knife, Jinx seeming like she’s crying but fake sneezes and adds a whole lot of character just by how she reacts to the news and just Jinx in general taking control of the situation makes this scene absolutely amazing. Im so glad Riot made this series because it’s got amazing story telling and such an amazing art style. I had to rewatch Act 1 because I was mesmerized by hair lines, the hair itself and Vander’s beard. I also love the cast and the voice acting. 11/5 and this show isn’t even completely out and I can’t wait for act 3
The character Powder/Jinx was and is inspired by the Joker and Bellatrix from Harry Potter! Not Harley Quinn. Although I thought so too. You can look it up if you want.
Harley Quinn’s back story is dumb, it makes no sense that she went crazy like that. Jinx’s back story makes you feel that there’s an actual reason behind her craziness, she saw her parents die, she grew up feeling like a useless piece of meat, she always felt that everything she does ends up failing and she ended up accidentally killing her 2 brothers and her father by accident + she has burnt in her memory how Vi blamed her for killing the entire family.
