Thank you so much! Your guides are very simple and useful!
That moment when the best sword you have for Kaeya is prototype rancour 🥲
Another good guide!
But an important thing to note is that the 4-Piece Gladiator's Finale only increases Normal Attacks damage. It does not increases Charged Attacks nor Plunge Attack damage. Hence why some people prefer the 2-Piece Gladiator + 2-Piece Bloodstained Chivalry set instead.
Nevertheless, the 4-Piece Gladiator's Finale is one of the strongest choices for Kaeya, and I dare say it matches the 4-Piece Blizzard Strayer set performance wise, as long as you build Kaeya correctly. One example is that the 4-Piece Gladiator's Finale set excels with weapons like the Primordial Jade Cutter or The Black Sword, since those weapons will be providing CRIT Rate already. But even with weapons that don't provide CRIT Rate, you can still use the set efficiently while equipping a CRIT Rate headpiece.
But the biggest differential that the Gladiator's Finale set have is that it works evenly on every scenario. While the 4-Piece Blizzard Strayer might lose some of its performance against enemies that can't be frozen nor affected by the Cryo debuff. For example the Geovishaps once they infuse themselves with an element.
But overall both sets are really good, and, in my opinion, it comes down to personal preference.
I have him running harbinger of dawn (R5) rn unfortunately instead of his more popular options like Prototype Rancour and Black Sword since I don’t have a better weapon. He still hits decently hard a good portion of the time (additional 28% CRIT if above 90% HP, 15% CRIT bonus from Cryo Resonance, 12% Crit from Berserker set). He only has +30% crit dmg rn, which is low. Is there any way I can make him better? I’m only AR 24 at the moment and he’s C0.
"Resolution of Sojojojojor" XD
Stuck between choosing the skyward bald and black cliff sword since I have them both. The crit damage seems like it’d be a better choice especially with all the crit rate he gets from cryo resonance and I have him at c1, but the skyward has a higher base attack and better passive (I think).
Thank you!
this is so helpful, thank you:)
