King of the Hill Video Game, A Real Game | Esoteric Internet

This is not a joke. It exists. It is not “Pro-Pain”. It is painful though. #KingOfTheHill

King of the Hill is an iconic American sitcom. Every American sitcom gets weird merchandise.

People joke about a King of the Hill video game, but it was real. It was also, honestly, a competent attempt at one. That does not mean it was very good or memorable though. Maybe the fact it is rather forgotten makes it incredibly bizarre. Very little of the game is interesting in video game terms (so this is not a review), but it is interesting in being some “alternate attempt” at King of the Hill media: Hootenanny and Texas Huntin’. How do you make a video game out of a show that has nothing at all to do with video games?

It is also incredibly hard to actually run (on any computer). What mystery could it contain?

  1. Nowadays it would be a Propane Simulator, turning into a joke/flavor of the month game.

By the way, Pseudiom, did you know about Emergency Broadcast Network? I think they work could be of interest to you.
