tbh so far i have trouble seeing what sets it apart from just, like, Rimworld.

Not even worth watching the Amazing Nook Play this game. Single Z level, not worth it. As previous commenter said. Rimworld does this already and has massive mod support so you can play everything from Starwars to nomads.
Hmm… after 3 episodes I've come to maybe a harsh conclusion but… This game is utterly pointless. We already have Rimworld which is… I mean vastly superior, And there isn't a single flavour hit on Dwarf Fortress in this.
