yeah I agree, watched old tarkov videos recently and the game is just not the same. Still love it but I hope they can make it like it used to be
The game is fun, people just play it too much. If everyone only played a couple raids a day, the meta wouldnt be so crazy. But people playing all day every day, have infinite roubles thats just how it is. No economy based game will ever be 'balanced', there is always someone who will choose to play 18hours a day to get ahead.
So away I think could solve this problem. BSG is talking about overheating and jamming being more apparent. Overheating is ok but most guns we have in the game wouldn't overheat with the amount of ammo we take into raid. But Jamming I think could be something they could base the economy on because instead of traders selling you new guns all the time. when a trader runs out of stock the trader could buy what was on the flea market. sense the Flea almost always after a point has like 3 pages per-gun of stock. but this would mean that the stock the traders have is not 100% dura all the time.
Hi there! I agree with some of the criticism and disagree with other…
Most of those problems are just because… maybe people are getting bored with the game and need to switch a bit?
For a new player, this has been an amazing experience.
I actually like it when I unlock the traders and can run high-tier ammo and armor.
It's been great.
I just think… that running 12 hours every day for 60 days – yes, it's going to get stale and boring.
It's a limited game after all, all the variety after that comes from the multiplayer.
The only thing that makes things a bit too easy right now is maybe bitcoin prices?
I feel like I am making waaay more money than I am supposed to make in the game. 700k every 12 hours ….
The flee market is dumb its the root for alot of problems. It doesn't give people a fair chance to fight try hards it gives them even lesser a chance because try hards play all day they can afford things that a normie can't. It also makes the game loot driven because you don't care about things that you need but things thats expensive so that you can exchange for whatever you need. If I don't need a Ledx it should have no value to me, but because of the flee all I care about is to rush the medic room to get the ledx.
Tarkov would be more fun for me if it was about mostly low/mid tier gear. A week after wipe everyone is fully chad or a naked everytime.
Full auto guns have less recoil IRL then in game..
You forgot to mention the extensive hacking….the poor legit low middle class player gets fucked in this game just like real life bro…from all sides
Well everyone has a different opinion. This game is awesome atm. Ive played for 2-3 years now. The game is awesome. Never was a survival game and it never was a tactical shooter. What we are seeing is the playerbase gain knowledge and gain skill. The only fun part of the is end game. Also i grinded all my skills i deserve them it was not easy to obtain. Neither was all my money. I earned it. Everyone complaining about dying to all these full geared max PMCS, Aren’t putting in the work. Klean has one the worst takes ive seen personally on this game. He’s literally crying about vectors and meta kits. No shit the good gear is good idiot. Obviously. Also id love to see everyone who complains ab full geared players grind full gear and max skills. You would still suck at the game. IMPORTANT NOTE this is my opinion and one that isn’t unreasonable too.
Kleen is such a whiney bitch
Saw this video as soon as it came out, and then a couple times more these past few days.
TLDR: You should be more responsible when giving out feedback like this to the general public. You're speaking from a very different position than somebody who might be interested in getting the game because there's so much for them to go through and enjoy before they reach your level of skill, as well as this level of frustration with the game.
You're thousands of hours in front of other players so naturally you get frustrated about the repetitiveness of each wipe. It's just not like that for most people, so your vision is blurred.
===
Although I do agree with you on many fronts (especially sticking GPU's up your ass), you're still kinda full of shit on this one Klean. You're not really talking about the experience of an average Tarkov player, which I kind of understand too, as there's no such thing as an average player on this game (not really at least). You either commit to it, or you don't play it. Even in that setup, there are players who are more skilled than others. It's just not true that "the game is carrying" you when you talk about stuff like recoil, strength, etc.
Sure, there's no recoil on many meta guns, but the game isn't about that. It's way more about movement, positioning, knowing when to engage, how to push, holding your rifle higher to focus on thorax and headshots when going around corners, etc. A LOT of small stuff like that.
It's also a lot about building confidence in PVP. People shit themselves in Tarkov completely. I've seen so many mates on Discord stream who freeze completely when they're the last one alive. It takes hundreds and hundreds of hours to get to a point where you're actually good at the game and can confidently compete with players who are equally or more skilled than you. Yea, you might get a lucky head, eyes on a better player but in most situations you'll just get shit on when you're new, and that's the beauty of it. You learn something from it, and you gear up and try again. I've never really rage quit in Tarkov as I have in many other games. I don't know why, I guess because I know why I died every single time, and I wanna apply what I learned immediately (unless it's a cheater or desync bullshit).
This is my second wipe. I don't think I'm great at the game but I know I've improved a lot. I have right around 600 raids at the moment with 61% survival rate and around 7 K/D. Even though I feel some of the stuff you're ranting about already, I still enjoy the game massively, it's the most fun PVP in a shooter I've ever had.
The game is growing.. why fix something that isn't as broken as your opinion says it is. Fine tuning is one thing but let's be honest meta pvp is still very fun despite being 3 months into wipe
Take down the flea market. REMOVE it. Forever. Timeblock every level of the traders. Example, no lvl 2 traders in the first month after a wipe. Maybe even more!
On the shit audio subject: I still don't understand why they removed Steam Audio, even if it had some flaws… it was better than what we have now. I know they're adding it back soon, but it still sucks right now.
I also can't wait for dynamic loot tables. This should be interesting.
Another way they could work around nakeds just putting shit in their secure container would be just to make your secure container searchable. Anything new entered into your container is lootable whilst what you came into pre raid would be greyed out; just like a pmc’s knife would be. Just another thought for you Klean 😉
If late in the wipe, everyone is running Killa armor and Slicks, where do you see the game going without any wipe when the game actually comes out of Beta? If 60 days are the optimal for having fun, what would it be like 600 days in? 6,000 days? You'll be out of Tasks and have accumulated so much money from farming/killing that the game will become meaningless pvp. Any thoughts?
My two cents on the matter. I think in order to curb the altyn and 995 availability on day 1 or two or having guys like pest or whoever being able to speed through to kappa in 3 days is to have a sort of global progression. Sort of region lock players into groups where bears and usec have to each turn in x amount of items to respective traders for stuff to be unlocked. Base the numbers on region population and force players to choose where they can get progression towards these unlocks. Dont prevent them from playing or getting xp or loot in general just trade good availability this would make it ok for friends from all over to play together.
If anyone played og wow when burning crusade came out each server had to contribute to the war effort to invade the portal. Have something like this. That way people who play all the time can contribute faster and maybe unlock some small cosmetic or even performance bonuses while us normals can contribute as we can. This way the "early game experience" that everyone seems to like sticks around longer. This might be what they are aiming at for the open world and faction karma and unlocks. Also having the factions separated would be more fun where bear get access to bs and 7n.. bullets early where as m61 and 995 55a1 are for usec first. Then along the line each faction can find and fund mixed kits. But this would take some balancing cuz 55a1 and 800 to 900 rpm outclass all ak variants anyway.
So would a weapon buy limit on the flea market help the issue? On top of dealer limits.
As for the GL, you could just have that explosive of 2 meters do very little damage (like 3 or 4 to kill) but shrapnel causes bleeding. So you can shoot it close range and get an advantage but still have to follow up
I consistently run trash tier kits cuz I'm broke from trying to keep up with the Jones for my hideout but this far into the wipe I've actually saved on it cuz prices have normalized on a lot of early materials. But I can kill chads with leg meta as long as I know they are wearing masks before hand I cant just press w and win. Head eyes then legs use decent flesh damage in leu of high pen if you can't afford it and aim at eyes. I love listening to the billionaire streamers complain armor doesn't matter. The get mad that COD movement doesn't always work. Also meta has always been in this game. Fort and kivr first few wipes and 5 if aks on your hotkeys just roll your face across your number key. I agree with the number of slicks is too dam high. Recoil needs to be rethought and heavy armor needs to cause some detriment as well. Everything needs a trade off which is something tarky lacks sometimes.
In the words of certain players and even streamers, eft isn't meant to be fun: "git gud"
I love how this coming from the man who brought his fan base in to assist in protecting him while he obtained Kappa, complained about hatchlings for ages so now we have FIR, where ratting has become the norm, and doesn't understand that most people can't play the game 60hrs a month, let alone in a week.
you and eroktic should link
this game was so fun back in .8
shit is ruined now. especially cuz no life streamers and the devs saying its to easy to get meta and the ammo is fucked to
they should make everything super ez to get so every1 can get meta or buff everything severely to match meta and i dont mean nerf stuff by adding a price tag on it a big price tag doesn't make something way to op and a guaranteed kill any less and idk wht ppl don't understand about tht.
remove the fkn flea market plsss… No stuff for anybody, just ppl playing with whatever gun they happen to find or buy to traders and make trader lvl unlock with time for everybody during the wipe so no rushing lvl4 trader on day 2 of wipe. Ps : why is dynamic loot not even in the game ? i wanna die
They need to make burst fire viable. Right now with the recoil system 3-4 round bursts are less accurate than mag dump.
your 13 intro sucks. literally nothing but bass boosted ear destruction.
The game is not fun at all and is quite demoralizing for new players. Tried to get a few of my homies to play, first game, four of us. We get wiped by a vector virgin, ONE fat chadded virgin, while we riddled him with bullets he turns and sprays us all down. It looked like a rambo spoof. They all quit after and never reinstalled.
Whole video is totally on the nose too, sad state of affairs that EFT is in
Y'all bitches including Klean that are mad because of the Chads, you're probably the one that run straight down to Sawmill, Dorms at Customs or at the Resort on Shoreline. Well no shit kids, that's where the HEAT & the lootylooty is.
I don't get it. Everyone complains about good shit being good. There is a reason why the good shit is expensive. People mention all this people saying they're good while running best in slot. Well yeah. It's fucken best in slot and most of the time it's the most expensive to use. Stop fucking complaining all the time and just play another game it sounds like everyone wants a fully different game.
The no recoil meta is cancer, I can work with the rate of fire, it's what you've got to do when netcode is shitty and ergo can stay but recoil reductions need to be heavily nerfed or hot ammo needs to increase recoil by a lot.
So let the dude fire his hk with training ammo with next to no recoil but m855 to m995 has to have recoil, it's cancer when the guns have less recoil than airsoft replicas.
Pretty much agreed with everything said here.
If Nikita actually doesn't want stagnant metagaming which INCLUDES hatchet running in his game, he needs to actually make a change to the systems to fix it. Your suggestion of not being able to put items in the secure container in raid is Occam's Razor-like perfection. It's easy to implement, uncontroversial and would solve a large problem with the game instantly.
Also lol – I'm fully a casual tarkov player and I always bring a gun into the raid, and it always surprises me whenever I loot a runner and find a high level dog-tag. I don't even have anything against hatchet running specifically, as much as I just despise when games devolve into cheesy metagaming because the systems governing gameplay aren't varied or creative enough. For example, I can count on one hand how many times I was killed this wipe by something other than 7n31, AP-SX, or m995; not including scav instant head eyes with 7mm buckshot. It feels extra annoying for me being the kind of person that wants a different experience from each raid. I rarely take in the same gear into consecutive games; I prefer gear for aesthetics over statistics; and I play the game extremely impulsively. That playstyle isn't always gratifying when the people you're running into constantly are operating on another level of time investment which is buoyed by the inherent brokenness of the in game economy.
Not really enjoying this wipe.
Is it me or does Klean look like he's on the verge of crying? I dont say that because he's complaining about the game, it's his face, he looks like tears are about to come
I dont really agree with the whole "challenges in multi-player games is stupid" concept. People have been doing things to change up the game and make it more challenging because it's different and more difficult because the people they are fighting aren't stuck with one hand behind their back. It's not nessisarily the devs fault because there isn't enough content. There are still thousands of people playing the game to back that up. Not to mention that there are still a huge portion of people still stuck with no money and very little gear. Also he preaches about how what he is doing is useless because it's going to be gone anyways. Wipes happen for a reason. It's what gives the majority of players a reason to do missions and continue playing the game. Wipes are 100% nessasary for a game like tarkov. And if you don't like the wipe system it sounds like tarkov isn't for you.
this rant was based
except if u lockout containers would legit make the game unplayable because the casuals would stop playing creating a huge dip in player base for one the gameplay loop would change yes but instead of hatchet runners now we have 5 man extract campers all chadded out with their no recoil weapons which would effect everyone not just the nakeds would make the game so boring imo but i think changes do need to be made
I think you're wrong but I can see your opinion.
100% with u.
The biggest problem in the game right now is the gigantic gap in PMC attribute skill levels. Let's say a Lvandmark PMC with level 50 strength and endurance maybe health gets into a battle with someone who has around level 20 of the same skills. Even if they have the exact same gear on and gun and ammo, Lvndmark will win the fight almost every time because he passively takes less damage has a lower chance to bleed etc. Skill system needs overhauled so bad it's not even funny, unless you have no job and play 80 hours a week you stand no chance to see elite perks which are in many cases game breaking.
does this guy think hes better than everyone else?
economy is not the problem. the problem is, that you can buy/trade tier 6 ammo and armor right away. that is the problem. even with a lasergun but shitty ammo, i cant win. but its so easy to buy that stuff. restrict it. raider only for tier 5 and 6 and no flea market for that kind of gear. solved.
Literally, No one cares.
I’d like to bring up PVP in this game is pointless.
It is 9 times out of 10 pointless to fight anyone if you can just loot and avoid them.
Which is really difficult to accept when all I want to do is kill, and not loot.
I totally agree with some points.
Im liking this wipe, cuz money is kinda easy to make and i've been playing a lot, so im actually able to play with m4, hks, vektors, vals and at least korunds every single raid and im having great fights, killing ppl and getting killed by good ammo.
Labs has been kinda down, but man, interchange, 90% of the time i get a lot of geared players.
The change on container will make the game so much harder and so much funnier! We need to support this!
Blocking the secure container would just increase the amount of extract campers. It doesn’t solve the issue head on because the player would literally have to do nothing except wait for others to bring the loot to them.
Reason I get my PMC to 30 to get hideout stuff, then I play scav runs is because game becomes a COD with more complicated healing. Getting stuff done with a shitty scav is fun, appreciating that good gun that I get by killing a 2 man squad with a scav and a shitty PPSH, escalating that to a bossfight and getting out with a keycard. That's god tier fun, running forward with 100 bullet mags and 0 recoil is just a boner killer.
I wish recoil was a thing in EFT even for meta weapons, I wish meta was actually rare.
I agree with secure container argument. As well as keys, durability makes sense and can be realistic in a sense that lock is being changed after someone finds out that room was accessed.
This is all bullshit! There is a lot of information available that tells us EFT is in a playable developmental state (BETA) and the finished product will be very different. Yeah, there are a lot issues with the game but they cannot all be fixed when they are still developing it. You should know that and stop ranting.
At the end of the day it is a game and should be fun vor EVERYONE
Btw when there would be no secure container, every player would sneak to the next exit as soon as he found something valuable… instead of just put it in the kappa and go in the next fight. So would be less dynamic
