  1. I wish I could subscribe to playlists… I've been subbed before, but I unsubbed when you stopped playing the game I was watching. Now that you're doing this, I want to watch THIS not the other dozen videos you put out (btw, SERIOUS props to how much content you put out there. It's not for me, but I can respect the grind)

  2. Z you're still thinking too small you need to pave the planet and ring it with a belt of sails coming from a central factory so you can have 100% coverage, also placing your ray receivers on the poles is the way to go, since there are also seasons on top of day night cycles

  3. Z the belt kinks are because of different sized grid sections misaligning due to using cartesian coordinates on a sphere. There are shared major longitudinal lines passing through the poles that align all the grid sections. single belts can ALWAYS be maneuvered to align and be straight, you only ever run into problems with multilane busses that run north-south. definitely try as much as possible to have your longest belt runs run west-east, you get perfect spacing across the whole planet with no kinks

  4. I saw a screenshot from this game of bunch of the of the drone shooting cannons situated on one of the planet's poles. I think if you did that it'll always have sight of the sun for convenient drone shooting.

  5. 56 sails – 2kW.
    1800 second lifespan
can be launched every three seconds (by one rail gun)
1800/3 = 600 sails at any given time per railgun (assuming you can manufacture 600 sails every 30 mins).
    600/56*2=21.4MW
That's quite a bit. As others have said you can upgrade sail lifetime to make it even better, and if you can manufacture sails quickly enough, you could even have multiple launchers.
100MW could be achieved with a bit of work.

There is literally a point just a few lines over to the right where the two meet up perfectly.
No need for wibbly conveyers here, though I agree – the consequences of spherical geometry are infuriating.

  7. I'd love to see you to make 20 sail launchers and have each one set to a different orbit trajectory and automate it so that they are all able to constantly have sails to launch (when the orbit allows). you know you want to do it, lol.

  8. There is upgrade to those solar sails to improve its lifespan, and after you research and launch rocket to build up dyson sphere frame, the solar sails you launched after that will automaticly attach to the frame and become permanent

  9. So those jogs in the conveyor are correction lines. When you place a grid around something round you have to correct every once in a while, since its not a flat surface you're putting a grid on. Same way they have placed a grid on our planet.

  10. dont wanna launch them until i got some of the lifespan upgrades, got 30 000 of them saved up! my current power solution is having half the equator paved with solarpanels, and 64 accumulators to account for the small amount of night
