You're right that the characters in Rise and other Worlds videos just look like normal dudes. They're pro players from around the world. The weapons they're using are weapons from champions in the game. You'll see a bunch of Faker because he's the GOAT. The first pro that's encountered in Rise is Perkz, currently the mid laner for Team Vitality. He's been one of the best mid laners in the world for a long time, although he's kind of past it a bit now and the midlane talent pool is deep!

ok in runeterra there is no real good guys and bad guys. yea there are some that would lean a way but no strait up good and bad. now for breathe if you want to talk about good and bad (as close as you can get) you have it backwards. Ionia would be the good (the side with the shadow ninja and the winged tiger) and the bad would be Noxus (the other guys). to head over to arcane Mel was from Noxus and my bet is season 2 will still be in Piltover and season 3 will be in Noxus since they already have a leed in for it.
thought i would make another post to let you know the worlds songs have the players in it. started back with ignight in 2016 i think. there are songs played at worlds that dont have them but the worlds song does.
