  1. Bees do not "give" us honey… They produce it for themselves for survival through winter and we steal it from them and give them a cheap sugar substitute

  2. The worst thing about wasps when I was a kid was that my parents had an apple tree, and I had to use a push mower.
    The worst thing about WASPs now, is that they've got a dozen kids, a goat, a coop of various fowl, and they keep trying to buy my backyard.
    I'd love a bee hive, but I'm sure I would get sued.

    Fun fact: the social black-and-yellow wasps we most usually refer to when talking about wasps can in a single summer, in the UK alone, capture as much as about 14 million kilograms of insects and spiders. Also, while they don't produce honey, they are still significant pollinators.

    Let's give them a break and just be thankful they exist, okay?
