  11. Madness is one of my favorite songs, and honestly the reason to this day why I got into FnF because seeing a madness character being put into FnF was mindblowing to me.

    The instrumental has a very different vibe here, feeling as if you were in a true final boss battle. There's a lot of menace in it, but there's also a lot of vigor in it, as if Boyfriend isn't coming into this fight with just a cocky additude—rather with the tools to actually deal with this threat.

    I was going to dock points heavily when the slowdown came because I felt like the drop wasn't nearly as much of a shift compared to the original, and that complete tonal shift into a slowdown was the main strength of the song. The song itself was good, but that slowdown tone shift was what made it go from good to absolutely amazing, and it wasn't here.

    …that is until 2:26 fucking kicked in. If I could say anything, I think when Tricky finishes it and it goes into the freestyle at 2:40, it should have been the belch quad notes; using that would have really pulled the song into a having a real "death match" vibe. Even so, the note used wasn't bad, it was still good, but that was the one thing I would have liked to have heard.

    And fuck, that unexpected flourish from Boyfriend in the end was fucking lovely. Very good, well done.
