Square Enix dropped a huge announcement during State of Play as they revealed Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, as well as a piece of downloadable content starring Yuffie Kisaragi!
Yuffie will appear in a brand new story episdoe alongside Sonon Kusakabe as they assist AVALANCHE in their fight against Shinra. Expect lots of fun combat, lots of fun Materia and plenty of sass! We’ve also learnt that Dirge of Cerberus will be referenced, as Deepground will feature and Weiss the Immaculate will be appearing as a secret boss!
Outside of that, Square Enix also revealed Final Fantasy 7 Ever Crisis and Final Fantasy 7 The First Soldier!

I'm hyped for the game, but I'm sad that it's moving to PS5. I bought a PS4 specifically for this game, and haven't used it too much because there's not that many other games for it that I can't also play on my Xbox. But now this basically means that buying the PS4 was pointless for me. I also find it surprising that FF7R is getting updated so soon after being released. It's only been… what, a year? Less?

After testing the full game PS4 demo from ps+ 💙 I’m definitely gonna buy it for the full experience now once that dlc is available. It was nice to meet Cloud for the first time too. He’s kinda like Goku , in the way you don’t have to be a fan to know something about him. I’ve definitely been missing out. There’s so much lore to learn it’s not even funny.

These "upgrades" are pretty weak and only endgame dlc is episode yuffie just for ps5? Kind of disappointing in my opinion, don't think it will be enough to bring me back to the game after beating it in the first week it was released.. sigh
Yuffie's campaign reminds me of GTA 4's Episodes from Liberty City where instead of playing as Niko, play as Johnny and Luis and see their perspective on the GTA 4 story. Also the co-op attack reminds me of the Bros Attack moves from the Mario & Luigi RPG games
I am very disappointed that the DLC will be a PS5 exclusive because there are many still without the console or don’t have enough to shell out for the purchase. Wrong move I feel as I think they’ll make more money if they make it for PS4
