  1. You should put up 4 or 5 rail guns around the planet and receivers on every side, just keep putting up solar sails 24/7, like, just keep putting thousands of them in the sky. A few dozen ain't what a real dyson array would take, it would take millions.

  2. Love the content! You should move your Ray Receiver to a pole to be in perpetual sunlight, also then keep launching solar sails to boost your power instead of using other resources. Do the upgrades to increase solar sail life-span.

  3. In my current swarm, one solar sail produces 65,6 MJ over a lifetime of 1800s
Launching one solar sail costs 3,6MJ and producing one solar sail in an MK III assembler costs 1,04 MJ(not counting further down the supplyline), the sorters needed to move the Graphene the "Protein" Combiners and Solar Sails around, up to the gun
costs 0,072 MJ (not so sure on that one)

So your actual concern should be the sail lifetime and Ray transmission efficiency upgrade wise.
Your orbital elements and placement of Ray recievers matters too.

After having done further math: Maintaining 1200 sails without any upgrades needs 2 sails launched every 3 seconds, that comes down to 4 guns anywhere but the poles and 1.5 mkII assembles CONTINOUSLY making sails and buffering enough over night.
and you will get 12.5 MW with one POLAR Ray receiver.

I think it was designed to be feasible for anybody with a factory, that can manage blue and red cubes production.

  4. This channel has got me hooked on so many of these games you play. Love it! Saw another game that piqued my interest and wonder if you're going to check it out. It's called Dream Engines: Nomad Cities. Looks cool. Definitely a twist of city builder and Tower Defense.

  5. Z1 slap yourself for using a sorter as a merger. You can combine conveyors as long as you don't change the direction of the conveyor being added to(T-junction). Also you will need a few thousand solar sails orbiting at a time to really get the benefits, also you need enough solar receivers as each one can only handle 5 MW. if your solar sails are producing 5.18 MW and you only have one receiver you are not getting the 0.18 MW from the sails

  6. 89.5MW Power…im doing that with a few hundred Windturbines alone XD..They are MUCH better for Early power, are stable and don't any limited resources…Coal is always the most limited Resource in the first System. But also one that isn't entiely needed…you can substitute it with Oil, which is unlimited.

  7. For power – Wind is really good since it outputs at a constant rate. Solar outputs less and is intermittent, so you'll either need to make a solar belt, or add accumulators. Dyson Swarm is not bad – sure, it eats some resources, but it's a good way to power all of your planets in a solar system easily, and using less space. Plus you'll need the Swarm to feed the Sphere eventually.

Interplanetary power transmission is a bit of a disappointment until the game patches some sort of "consume only as much power as you need" setting – it's a machine that takes accumulators, charges them, and spits them out charged, and can do vice versa. So you're shipping rechargable batteries around with it and interplanetary logistics.

Dyson swarms power output Exponentially increases with each individual mirror. The more mirror in orbit and in different orbits the more power. Your swarm in compaerison to Nilaus is limp.

  9. Hey Z Those solar sails are best utilized to send power to new planets easily. Just set up a collector on a new planet and you have an instant high output energy source.

  10. your using coal to produce twice the amount of energy you're consumming. is there a way to store the excess energy? if not, should you cut back on coal production or store the coal for later energy production?

  11. omfg the generators use more fuel at 100% satiffaction like satisfactory and you arent considering production rates or demands for A FACTORY GAME i might have to stop watching

  12. I think your out of fuel because you have input by three sorter and output by nine of them. All of the sorter have equal work performance, input one at the time, output one at the time? Your demand seems like 9 out of 3.

  13. 1 – Solar Sails transmit power to your Solar Receiver. But when the receiver is on the dark side of the planet, it receives no power from sails. Placing multiple receivers is recommended.
2 – You could replace your Titanium storage with a Intraplanetary Station, since it will be receiving Titanium from the Interplanetary Station eventually. (It has 5x storage slots of 10k each)

  14. i have 41 themal power with 7 miners … but i only chain linked it max to 4 .. making 100watts … with everything running but of course setup different … i think keep expanding power till you BEAST is feed heheh thank for great video peace n love

  15. I would suggest going to a planet with a very low axial tilt and set up the railguns on both poles of that, also it'd be a good idea to set up a solar sail orbit that is completely perpendicular to the one you have by default, going directly up and down. This gives your railguns a better angle and you'll be able to constantly fire the railguns for much longer at either pole when they inevitably switch.

  16. Zee… in video u are building labs on pole of planet… i recommend moving it elsewhere… the pole u are using has sunlight 24/7 so its best used for solar panels and for collecting photons in late game… just want to save ur time…rebuilding it after 😀

  17. the cola plants are great for power, but make sure your not buring coal if you dont need it, unless you have batteries to store the extra power. Otherwise you'll find you burned all your coal and run out of power again

  18. What I have found when using the thermal generators, is that if you want to "reset the system", just cut off their supply (to let it pile up for a bit), then flood it. I've found that typically solves the problem.
Edit: just saw the part where you just moved it to a different power network, also an effective method. Loving the amazing videos!

  19. 41:09 It's at least partially because the sorters are SLOW, you aren't taking stuff out of the box fast enough, also, the green belts probably aren't fast enough for that many generators, likely don't have enough production either for the long term but for right now you just aren't feeding them fast enough.
