Its ridicilous with the shortage. Sony should had made some temporarly factories in europe and the US . In that way you dont have that delivery time to there , wich is like 6 weeks on a ship… Here in the netherlands , or europe for that matter , we havn't had new stock since mid december. The UK had new stock last week ( lot of that ended up in the gands of scalpers ) . I pre ordered mine on sept 18th . Its a pre order for early 2021. I thought in the meantime ill try to get 1 , and if succesfull cancel the early 2021 pre order. But nothing.

Depends with both consoles where they actually manufactured there is a lot of countries which are on to complete total lockdown so they will be on minimum workforce due to the pandemic they can't fill their factories with full staff capacity obviously you're going to get a slow down there's absolutely nothing Microsoft and Sony can do unfortunately that's how it is is and we have to be patient it's just a shame that Microsoft and Sony did not do anything against these bots and scalpers and we would be in a better place

Target had stock in earlier both of my PlayStation friends got one. Also seen consistent stock at several of my local Walmart stores on several different occasions. I know they are not the same stock either because before I leave the store I check to see if they have them still in stock and only once was there one PlayStation 5 left.
What should have happened:
Manufactured millions before launch day and only give out one ps5 to one person.

Buy the games even if you can't get the system. That way when you do get the system, you'll have the games you want.
The massive problem is the Weakstation 5 the RDNA 1 box just got destroyed in Hitman 3 by 44%.
