  1. In my entire league gaming, i have never ever played Yi with an assassin build. Instead, i played him more like Tryndamere. Galeforce Yi is just ridiculously broken and if you're lucky to get full build, he is just basically the raid boss now with 100% critical chance of full build. But usually, i end the game quickly because ending the game ASAP means faster climb.

  2. Some of you might not know but this is literally how Yi functions on Wild Rift. On Wild Rift, lethality Yi isnt a thing, it's just crit and on-hit builds. The thing is that he feels so fluid that it's fun to play. Interesting to see some Wild Rift aspect make it into League

  3. man I like it. Ive been spamming e during alpha strike all the time to get it off when I land. So annoying. Sometimes I even tilted cause I pressed it too early and lost the fight because I didnt use my e. Really healthy for master yi gameplay. Same for r

  4. This'll likely make me stop playing Yi, and I don't even play him lethality. The changes to how cooldowns work are just terrible and not what I want him to do. If you alpha strike & get out of range somehow, you're fucked unless you can flash to get back in range and you can no longer meditate to bridge the gap until you next get it up if you don't get any takedowns

  5. I think Duskblade will still be the most efficient item for most games
In those days of « One-shot or be one-shot » the invisibility is exactly what Yi needs to be autonomous

One hit will really be a think when better items would be available, more sustain or an overall damage decrease

  6. I generally hate YI, and now since they are removing the invisa-yi I am a bit more happy. Next please delete the champion from the game or rework him to be a slow tanky bruiser that has 30 % winrate. Thank you!

  7. Fun fact: Kraken Slayer only activates via auto attacking and gain stacks by basic attack on-attack (you have to auto attack to gain stacks) so Alpha Strike both 1. won't trigger Kraken true damage and 2. won't give Kraken stacks.
Guinsoo's Rageblade and Yi's passive Double Strike, however, gain stacks via on-hit. This means that after you use Q, you will be having full stacks of both their passives, activating both of them on your next auto.
This means by Q + auto attack, you will activate 7 On-hit Effects at once. That's kinda nuts if you ask me. Galeforce/Shieldbow + BotRK + Guinsoo is the way to go.

  8. I think the main reason why is Yi broken is in his kit, not his damage. His Q should be considered an ultimate spell. I mean, being absolutely untargetable every two seconds is just terrible design.
