  1. I never feel like I can do anything in this lane. Just mauls the crap out of me when I try to trade. Is there anything to do besides wait to outscale and hope their jungler doesn't come for tower dives?

  2. The match up might not have been ideal for Voli but I think he itemized really poorly, which made the match up and the game harder for himself, and actually crippled his own impact. He went tank after already being behind, which is just awful, unless playing some other champion that scales way harder off tank stats than Voli does. If he rushed Tiamat or chain whip he could just jam the wave in with his passive, and look to gank mid or invade jungle for a lead. Those items scale harder, provide more, and build into better item options that also scale harder and provide more than anything Bami's could provide. Just the ability haste alone from a Ravenous Hydra and/or a Goredrinker would make him harder to deal with.

Itemizing for the matchup, itemizing for the game, and trying to take advantages to take over the game is just going to better than sitting back and hoping that farming to build your cookie cutter items will just some how result in a victory screen.

Maybe, just maybe with Turbo Chemtank he could have bum rushed you every 90 seconds to force a fight, but he still could have grabbed Tiamat first to jam the wave, scale harder, and have more impact. Voli's base damage just isn't high enough to be threatening with a Bami's alone, he's not some Tahm Kench with 2 fat magic damage abilities on top of his auto passive, Voli only has his autos that he has to stack first and an e that can absolutely miss. I think rushing Everfrost after Tiamat might have let him try to fight off of every q, or just grabbing Rocketbelt or Shurelya's would have made him way more threatening. Even something like Prowler's or Galeforce might have helped him get onto you.

Itemizing well is just so important.
