The post-credits sequence got left out of the RE8 Finale. Since re-rendering and re-uploading could take 2 days, we just made a separate video. Totally my bad for not making sure it was not in the Part 3 cut!

For the next resident evil when they let us play as rose I really hope they figure out a way for us to use her mold powers
To put something in perspective, Chris is 48 during the events of this game, bare minimum Rose is like 16 but likely a bit older, so 18-20
Which would put Chris between 64 and 68…Jesus and he's still involved in anti-B.O.W. work.

I don't think RE4 remake is actually happening. I'm pretty sure that VR thing is it.
Just a crazy observation and an even crazier theory. The way the enemies die on dmc 5, looks like crystalization for the enemies in RE8. Sparda died for the same reason he became something he wasn't or didn't think he was,(Speculation) just like Ethan. Maybe it's a sins of our fathers type deal.
Where's Billy, Carlos and Sheva? I thought it woulda been cool for them to help Chris rid of any bio weapons since they are heavily involved with them.
Just to add to what everyone's saying: The figure walking at the side of the road being Ethan is NOT A SPOILER. There's no way to find that out in game. People discovered that its Ethan's character model with a modded camera.
I'm betting we play as Rose and will have to fight an enemy that shapes into Ethan and that we be the big "official" face reveal. Also I tbink leon will be in it due to remake of 4 probably coming out close to it and 4 remake will probably have changes to help the plot with 9.

IMO that the rude agent is one of Chris's crew, and they actually do care about Rose (because of Ethan, obviously.). Yes, the gov definitely keeping a close eyes on Rose, but they're the person who protecting her from gov with their own way, with a touch Chris's bluntness.
The shooter most likely some soldiers on gov side that they're force to work along and he's like 'Fuck off with those unnecessary bullsh*t, she's fine.'
As for the joking part, it's just capcom writer trying to fuck with us a bit, while hinting that Rose possesses memories of megamycete's storage.
I like RE8, I even love a few parts. But in trying to do a bit of everything, I think Capcom failed to deliver one of its iconic labyrinthine locations like the Spencer Mansion, the Baker Estate or the RPD. Village has great memorable locations but they all feel so disposable with the game's breakneck pacing rushing you through. I feel like I just had a meal comprised of different appetizers but lacking a main course to fully satiate my RE hunger. And no VR support 😔

i'm guessing that if she's being called Eveline, it's not only due to her "origins" but because she grew/aged fast just like Eveline? so does this mean that the end credit scene took place no more than 6 months to a year after the main game? basing this on the fact that Eveline ages/grows 24 times faster than a normal human.
So if Jill has the dormant T-Virus, would her children be with the T-Virus compatible = Tyrants?
I don't think we are ahead in the future that much. I think Rose is ageing very fast like Evelyn was, and its like not too far after the ending.
I think they're setting up Chris to be the bad guy and Leon being the true hero
This is gonna sound crass and like something an asshole would say, but at the end Chris should have Mag Dumped his AR into Mia and then tossed Rose into an incinerator. Mia knew that Ethan was a Mold Golem and willingly had a child with him, she was responsible for the creation of Eveline alongside Miranda, she can't be trusted, and Rose is a super mold baby with the potential to be an immortal living mold hivemind bioweapon. It's to dangerous to keep her around. Trying to raise her to be a good person who uses her powers for good is to much of a risk and there's no telling if she just wouldn't immediately have the memories and thoughts of any of the people the Megamycete absorbed including Miranda.
Either Rose or the driver recognized the person walking down the road in that last shot. It's faint but you can see the brake lights come on as they come up to it. The car didn't keep driving, they stopped just as that individual passed by. Who was it, what would make them stop, I haven't even seen the game and already I'm intrigued.
This got me for a second time, this is such a good ending to ethan's story, what an incredible game!

It's so weird looking back and seeing so many people hating on the game because "it's just not Resident Evil" but actually, this is easily one of the best Resident Evil titles. I couldn't be happier they went with this direction because if they'd stayed with the RE6 style, this franchise would no doubt be dead by now. So to say the team struck gold with this new approach would be an understatement, because god damn, this is fantastic.
