Medieval Dynasty – 7 Important Tips for a Great Game

Medieval Dynasty is a three-dimensional simulator in the convention of action RPG with elements of survival and strategy created by Polish studio Render Cube. This is the second production of the Lodz team and completely different from its debut project: Monster League go-kart racing game from 2018. This time the Poles created a realistic production set in the Middle Ages, reminiscent of the Czech Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game is also another part of the Dynasty cycle of Toplitz Productions, although clearly different from its predecessors.

This particular video is going to explain or show what i consider to be the seven absolutely most important things that you need to do/not do if you want to succeed in Medieval Dynasty. This list is in no particular order, but that is just because they are all so important.

  1. Just started playing this today, and my only real complaint is that IMO either the days need to be longer, or a season should be a day or two longer.

I think it’s easier to make wood hoes, I get a crap ton of sticks then start cutting trees right outside the town and making them into hoes. Yes cutting trees takes a bit of time, but so does traveling and finding stones for the axes, and you can make up to 4 hoes for every tree, assuming you harvest the right trees, plus hoes actually sell for a bit more money.

  2. Another tip I would add is get married ASAP. I didn't get any sort of warm clothes before my first winter I lost health from the cold. Fortunately I had been able to get married before winter came so I was able to just ask my wife to heal my injuries any time my health started getting low. I imagine eventually I'll have a playthrough that I can properly get prepped before the first winter, but having the wife saved me this first time through.

  3. QUICK MONEY – BERRIES, unripe and ripe berries sell for 1 coin each, you can hold 300 to 400 per trip.
also buy cabbage seeds in Branica, cabbage can be planted in spring then harvested in summer, planted in summer then harvested in fall.
with cabbage make and sell potage. (you only need 3-4 potage per season to survive) the rest sold for profit.

  4. another tip for new players – DO NOT EXPAND TOO FAST. you will want to recruit 6 people BEFORE you finish building 10 buildings.
    4 houses, food & resource
strorage, wood shed, hunting lodge, barn, workshop.
hold Left ALT, near recruitable people to see their skills.
focus on recruiting 4 people with high (4+) excavation, and 2 with high (4+) hunting.

  6. BUG FIX : when you run into the sleeping quest person and they wont wake up… it is super annoying and kills the quest. before you fail it go to a different town and save and load. it will reset the town with the quest person and the npc will do something besides sleeping…. thank me later

  7. First thing I do on a new game is go around the map, steal everything, sell it and get around 2k in coin. I make sure my last stop is where I can buy the pickaxe so I don't have to worry about searching for rocks. Not everyone's play style but I have fun and it only takes 45-60 minutes. I also build just west of the spawn point in the large open flat area. No water but for me water is never an issue as I carry a flask I stole.

  10. The quickest way I’ve found to make money, in the early game is setting one of my macro keys to press & release the E key while toggle, p sticks, rocks and herbs until you level up extraction twice, the first point should be spent on extraction knowledge, which double the points you get for each item you collect, the second point use it for Survival Sense.

Then you simple toggle the macro and tap survival sense to find patches of herbs. Run to the patch and collect them then click the L alt again to find the next patch. Use any rocks sticks you get to make stone knives. I made over 2000 gold when I entered the starter town the first time.

  11. One tip, stand outside when building, I followed the advice to carry all necessary materials inside the building ghost frame and drop them to save running back and forth. Sound advice except that some have wooden dividers inside. I ended up with a waist high partition between my character’s legs and nothing would budge him. That’s what the unstuck key is for!

  12. An extra note on talking reputation, every body is different. My wife did not like the beautiful eyes compliment, but really liked it when I told her she was strong like a boar. It seemed like everybody liked it when I told them I was starting to hunt and had advice to give, but not Unigost. He thought such things were completely beneath him and did not want to get his hands dirty doing such menial labors, -5 approval. What a loser he is, but my babe chops down trees all day without breaking a sweat, man I love that woman. 🙂
