This Medieval Dynasty video is a quick breakdown of the farming systems in Medieval Dynasty. On a simple level, there are only a few crop types, and only certain ones can be planted in certain seasons. So, in this guide i show what rotation plan allows you to most fully utilize your fields to either maximize yields or to keep your maintenance low if you don’t want to be farming all the time.
In the Medieval Dynasty, you can grow crops and farm them once you have learned how to craft. After building your house, you know that you can do whatever in this land until you pay the tax. The first thing that pops up in the mind is how to farm and grow crops in the ground near your house. For that, you will need to collect a few necessary tools and resources. This guide will explain to you how to farm the crops and gather food resources.
Farming Method To Grow Crops In Your Land At Medieval Dynasty
To farm in the field, you will need to press “Q” to open the Crafting Wheel and select “Building”. Under Building, there will be “Farming” where you can trace down the plot by selecting “Field”. Then you will need to craft or steal the “Wooden Hoe” to plow the field
After plowing, you will require to obtain a Bag where you can put the Seed that can be purchased in the village. The Bag can be stolen during the night when the guards are on the round. Sneak up and steal the Bag that will be placed on the Table near the campfire. Make sure you steal all the tools and resources in order to save a few golds, however, make sure you are not caught or else the Dynasty Reputation will decrease. You can also craft the Small sack but we prefer stealing whenever we get the chance.
Once you have obtained the Bag and any crop seed to grow. Select the bag in any of the Quick Slot and press Right Click to select the type of Seeds you want to sow. Now, you have to learn how to grow the vegetables which can be used to cook in the Cauldron inside the house. You can even increase the crop quality by spreading Manure. Thanks. These are the vids we need. Informative and to the point.
Very helpful tips! I recruit field workers because it requires nothing from you. The field workers use there own hoes, fertilizer and seeds so you don’t need to buy anything and plus they do the work for you! I’m sure they will patch it soon
These videos are great!
wow, thank you! very nice tips, and good thing you updated! 😀 (there is a public beta branch out rn for 1.2.2 check the steam changelog for a guide on how to update to it)
I like to role play as an onion farmer.
I don’t like doing grain, I prefer just picking vegetables, plus when you do grain it’s harder to see which fields you already have fertilized.
Great guide. This is a lot of useful information.
One of the most underrated YouTuber rn
I bought 5 of each seed in starter village(24 onions) and then planted 24 onions and 5 carrots and tried to plant wheat and spring ended 😂 last minute planting my first season.
I always take a moment and have to wonder, why someone chose to thumbs down the video. Just curious.
Thanks for the video, fantastic breakdown on the maths ( planting strats). Easy enough to figure out, yet, hearing it solidifies my own thoughts. 😎😎😎
I do the same 2 fields of flax and three of mixed grains and cabbage. I need another crafter to make linen thread now.
DTG..Thanks for saving me many hours if trial and error
DTG… have you ever tried building 2 towns ..miles apart?
Making flour is foolish in this game as wheat grains sell for the same as the flour. You are just throwing away money turning grain into flour. I have three large fields growing mostly wheat and flax and one small (6×20) with vegetable crops distributed within that field, provides more than enough food. Flax and wheat grain sell the best and flax stems are used to make linen thread/cloth which sell very well. Right now it's not worth making anything with linen to sell, you will just lose money.
My question is does tax differ if you have multiple small plantation vs one large plantation?
whats the best way to make or get fertilizer? its kinda expensive to just buy it off merchant and i dont have enough money yet for animals
