Medieval Dynasty – Early Game Money Making

In this Medieval Dynasty video i will show you how to make huge amounts of money, starting from nothing, very early in the game, very quickly. I will go through several methods of making money, all of which are good in their own right, but in the end i will demonstrate which method is the best, and which one will make you the most skilled and richest person in the entire valley.

Medieval Dynasty is a three-dimensional simulator in the convention of action RPG with elements of survival and strategy created by Polish studio Render Cube. This is the second production of the Lodz team and completely different from its debut project: Monster League go-kart racing game from 2018. This time the Poles created a realistic production set in the Middle Ages, reminiscent of the Czech Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The game is also another part of the Dynasty cycle of Toplitz Productions, although clearly different from its predecessors.

  1. You should make a video explaining how to start a village. I made two houses, a hunting lodge, a general storage, and a patch for carrots and I still couldn't have a villager or wife because they'd starve. I know now I need a food storage but i nearly rage quit before I found that out

  2. if you do decide to use hunting for making money, make Simple bags with the leather as you are out hunting. Not only will this bring in a bit more gold than selling the raw leather, but it also reduces the weight so you can stay out hunting for longer, hence getting yourself more kills, more meat, more fur, and more skill points.

  3. Yeah all of these are good but what about berries? you can get 2-5 in one bush and if you find one bush there should be like 50 – 100 bushes packed into one large chunk
and 1 berry can sell for 1 gold.

  4. Good tips. Thank you. What are your thoughts on good village locations? Is it wise to start near Gustavia? Also, is there a good way to find salt when you start out or do you have to buy it?

  5. Best way I’ve found to make money, at least in the early/mid game is to set up a macro key on your keyboard to repeatedly press and release the E key, then toggle it on, click your left Alt key to find a nearby cluster of herbs, run over, look down and move around the area, clicking the Alt key as needed to guide you to herbs and the next cluster.

I restarted last night, toggled on the macro, start roaming among the tress looking downward and got 2 skill points in Survival in a short period, so I could use Survival Sense. This also results in collecting far more stones, most of which you would never had seen. When I got to the starting town I sold well over 2000 gold worth of herbs and stone knives, which I made with the stones and sticks I had picked up. As an added benefit is that it helps your points in the Survival trait rocket upwards, I had gotten 4 points to spend under the Survivor trait before I entered the starter town.

This won’t collect berries, mushrooms or anything that requires you hold the E key down, but I imagine you could set a delayed release if the key into a second macro, although I haven’t bothered. Collecting the herbs is great, as not only are they everywhere across the entire map, but you can collect them during 3 of 4 seasons, although in winter it’s still handy for getting sticks and rocks really fast, as your character grabs items much faster using the macro than it does when you press the E key yourself.

  6. Am I the only one that heard the final jeopardy music in my head while he was collecting the reeds for two minutes? Not sure why, especially as I’ve never chosen to watch Jeopardy, although I’ve seen it when others decided to watch it

  7. Nice guide, but for raw resources, i guess that St.John's wort is certainly a more efficient way? 2 per piece and they are all over the place instead of sticks, but the crafting one was a pretty good one, that i will need to do more of 🙂

  8. For beginner the fastest is berry picking. Your starting location has 2 stacks of them like 7-20 bush grab all berries. You get 3-5 berries per bush. Nearest town has 3 sets and town across river has 2 and if you go west from there where the 2 towns are. In the forest on the way there is 8 stacks. Also south of branica has 4. Around ornica has 8. There is total 39 berry bush stacks. Check google for berry bush and collect all if not least ones close to towns. You can get from 1800 gold to 2500 gold per year. They are bitter and poisonous in spring. Sell most in spring and leave some for summer for your hunger. Ps you can hold only 400-500 at time. Due to weight.
