  1. So one thing I a curious about is highway men robbery and bandits since those were always a harsh part of the middle ages is that a feature that is being thought of? Creating militias and manning guard posts that type of thing?

  2. @Toplitz Productions: do you have any website or discord server where player can easily talk to many other players and quickly help each other through the game? This game I love, Satisfactory, has a great Q&A website that is significant to devs in the development process. Gamers can for example report bugs, submit ideas or ask if a given feature is going to make it into the game. One quick question about the game itself: how do I delete fields? I didn't find any answer and figure any ways out to do it. I wish I could merge 2 or more small fields together but can't do anything with them. Also: is there a way to elevate the terrain so I could build on slight slopes? Building a path would really be a great addition but I know you guys stated there will be no roadbuilding. Please, come around.

  3. Hey if you guys do read comments, I do want to say I agree that this trailer doesn't really show the type of game this is. I even looked at steam pictures and thought it was a RTS game like banished. Would not have considered buying untill I realised it was 1st person rpg type game, which is not clear in any way IMO

  4. Loving it so far. But surprised to find it kinda, easy? xD
    Winter didnt pose much of a challenge, when your 5 pop village already raked in 700 food in spring (one hunters hut and one 5×2 onion farm). Please dont forget about making it harsh. Have farms require rain to grow, so drought in summers can F you over, and have temperature be more of a thing, my character never once froze during all of winter despite only wearing fur boots and a fur hat.

    And have some other random events, like wolf attacks on the village, possibility to kill your people (or kid LOL). Perhaps down the line, even bandit attacks. But probably shouldnt happen while the player is more than 500m from the village (or it'll be a bad experience, too much rng).

    My point is, LOVING the game so far, its amazing to build a village in first person.
    But dont forget about making it challenging, bad shit happening is "Fun TM", think of Rimworld and such. Where would those games be if nothing bad happened, if you just built a happy village with no accidents?
    And FIRES (gives the bucket and washtub another use).

    Furthermore, i think extending the seasons to 5 days or so might make sense. Yes it means your whole dynasty system takes longer, but 3 days doesnt feel like enough time to "suffer" during winter or a potential summer drought.
    And frankly the villager dynasty rep limit is a bit too harsh. I mean, i can only have 5 villagers until i've completed the chapter that requires me to kill a Bear? Really? xD
    And doing quests to raise dynasty rep isnt feasible, as you gain like +6 for a quest that takes half a season to finish, and you need +200 to get a new villager in some cases.

  5. Look super cozy, definitely getting it. Finally a survival game with a realistic approach and without zombies and stuff. Can't wait to see what more you have in store for it's future 🙂

  6. i have been dreaming about a game like this for years, the dinasty thing (much like CK2,CK3) with a "skyrim" freedom vibe, and i gotta say it looks promising so far, got a few hours on it, and i cant wait to see what they bring up next for this title. one thing tho: gotta fix that performance/optimization problem, even with a beefy computer, it gets on my gpu's nerves (got a ryzen 7 and a 5700xt)

  7. Separate building for everything?
    Free beds and cauldrons if you buy your home from wood?
    This breaks immersion like fully.

    I would make separate furniture production from mostly purchased items :/
    Same with storage barns. It can be just shack without walls

  8. problem… pierwsze zadanie wybuduj swój dom, po zebraniu składników i ścięciu 5 drzew, nie mogę wybudować domu bo cały czas brakuje mi 6 kłód… zaczynam od początku i znów to samo. Ktoś coś wie?
