  2. the game looks really good, especially for people who love realistic medieval rpg games , and i really want to buy it and invest my time, but i have read on quite few forums that people have concerns on the game being abandoned for some new projects. Would you say there is any weight to these comments ?

  3. hello will it be possible to choose to be a woman or a man at the start of the game in the future or will we have to be a man? And can you give us a date for the implementation of the French language because as a streamer many people would like to play but do not speak English and are waiting for French to play it thank you very much

  4. This game is something new and different it has so much potencial just keep adding new stuff, for now the biggest problem is running all the time, you should add horses or some kind of transport that can carry at least 200kg

  5. Hello, Few questions from me. !. Will there eventually be a notification bar that will show when my town is out of a certain necessary resource i.e. firewood. This is the biggest pain because there will be times when I am not in the menu and I will just lose villagers to no having firewood and have to re-load a save. 2. On the same subject of the firewood, is there plans to make the workstations more like just job and crafting points? What I mean by this is the fact that firewood is made and put into the logging stations but not in a place where it can actually be used is very inconvenient. I have to run back to my village every time to move the wood 2 feet into the resource hut and that has cost me at times. So either a way to patch all workstation inventories into maybe specific resource huts with increased building limits to start with (if you plan on having weight limits on resource huts which I wish you wouldn't but I realize the value of upgrading options for these buildings I suppose) or make certain work places like the lumberjack stations tie in and be an extension of the resource huts. 3. Will there be a castles and keeps building system update so that we can build legitimate large stone structures and cities/kingdoms? ( I believe this would round the game off to a greatest of all time simulator if possible) 4. Will there be a combat system? For example will there be a way for the player to fight non-crucial NPC's ( more may need to be added which I get) ? 4b. will there be a raiding system? For example the way you lost your family to roaming bandits/militaries but coming to your village/city once you have reached a certain level of progress? This would be huge for many people that play this game I believe. This would assumedly have a way to arm your villagers to defend your land as well and the raids would happen at random time but give you an alert with a countdown clock etc. 5. If theses changes can be implemented armor smithing for you and your people would be awesome. 6. When can we expect mounts? I see the skill in the tree but it doesn't say an expected range date and I was wondering about that. 7. Will there be a way in the future to bring a companion with you or a horse and wagon so that you can move resources faster by using the carry weight of either the person or wagon? 8. Will there be a food preservation system added where food can be salted and or cured to last longer? maybe an ice box? 9. Will we be able to break off from the kingdom and the castellian to make our own society once we are large enough? This would be great and likely not too terrible to implement seeing as I am at the part of the story where we start to become suspicious of the castellian and his taxes ( which would feed into the caste and keeps and army system mentioned above) 10. Will you be adding gates to the village that we can open and shut? 11. Guard towers for when we are being chased by wolves/bears/wisents etc. Thank you and love the game so far!

  6. Will you add a simplified combat system (with sword shield armor) and humanoid dangers (bandits/aggressors)? Building walls is pretty pointless without serious trouble.

  7. I have not been able to find oats in any town. A website listed all items and their vendors and locations, the unnamed town near Branica is where oats were supposed to be found. Where can I find oats?

    wie lange ist mit der Weiterentwicklung zu rechnen? Ich habe extrem viel Spaß und würde mir weitere Inhalte wünschen wie eine etwas größe Map und so. Nun hab ich leider gelesen, dass
    Ende des nächsten Jahr ein neues Dynasty Spiel herauskommt und hab nun Sorge das unser aller geliebtes Medieval zu kurz kommt :<

    Ihr macht soweit einen wahnsinns Job unglaublich vielen vielen Dank.

  9. I have 100h in your game, first my biggest congratulations. Your game is beautiful, exciting and full of adventures. Go on with your good work !!! =) But unfortunately there are small errors: for expample there are a big bug with Uniegost, he dies 3 times in my game. He is 62 years old (my character 26) so I think he dies because as an old man. your campaign ends at that moment. Another example: in Alwin's mission nº9, he required me to shoot with a bow and obtain 64 points, BUT, despite the fact that I have made 3 shots with 100% accuracy, you can only obtain 61.2 points, so you can't get over the mission. Another bug I found: some sellers, when they get up in the morning from their beds, teleport over the their roofs and don't come down until the next night.

  10. you should reconsider the mod support question (workshop). You are a small dev team and you will need a lot of month for adding some content and fix, with the mod support, it could bring a lot of content and help you to keep an active community 🙂

  11. After I play a lot of hours of this game I have a few recommendations for the delevopers and wishes from the community:

    Steam workshop:

    Build an editor for objects like buildings, traps and other things that can be shared with the community via the Steam Workshop. This enables the players to build castles and other objects that they wish..

    Story:

    Allows players to play a female character via two storylines. One story for the male, one for the female character. The optional possibility that other NPCs apper on the map with different quests and stories would be good because this increases the replay value immensely. All storylines should contain the optional possibility in late-game to rule the people as noble or cleric.

    Building:

    Allows the players to build castles, paths and decorative elements. Immersion and the construction part would benefit greatly from this.

    Co-op / multiplayer:

    Just build it in. Many players will want to play with friends. A third storyline (only for multiplayer, maybe for 1 to 4 people as game mode) would be suitable for this.

    Game world:

    More interactive animal species like birds or bees, multiple maps with different terrain and optional variables would be very good.

    Thank you for your great work so far, but your diamond is still missing the cut for a brilliant jewel gem. 🙂

  13. I worked hard on the Unigost quest where you get an extra 5000 dynasty reputation points. However, by the time I got there, so many babies were born my new minimum to recruit was 30,000 points. I’ve had more babies since. I now have 20 people, eight of them children. How will I ever get more adult workers?

    Ur game is a dynamit 😀it just need a fire to make a boom ,amd that multiplayer ,i know u have to change manythings for that
    U can keep single player with this style for who dosent like fighting
    And make a multiplayer for who like fighting and counquring
    By multi i mean a server with 100 players
    Something like life is feudal ,they failed cuz the game was too much hardcore .but ur game have the potential to be a big multi survival
    Like rust dayz
    If u planned to make multi player i have some perfect idea's

    Like buying slaves from a safe zone for works or be a npc fighter

  15. This is very good game, I haven't play much yet, but so far I'm very impressed. :))
    It is very good idea to do this kind Q&A video, so we can give you feedback and give some advice that what we would like to see in the game. I think that after some time and few DLC this game will be really epic. :))

    Here is my idea contribute for the game, that I think it would make it even more epic.

    – Stamina overhaul: make stamina for more importand part of the game. Stamina would regenerate very slowly and when you have lesser stamina you would not be so effective at activities, for example when cutting tree one hit would normally do 20% without any skill points use, but if you are tired one hit could make 18% and if you are exhausted one hit would be only 15% effective. Same mechanic could work at every activity. For regain stamina you could; walk instead of running, rest few hours by the fire or drink potion to gain stamina back for increased rate. If stamina bars hit zero the character would faint and woke up at next day. That would make the game for real long and epic, because you just can't work from dawn to dusk without using time to rest time to time. ( Maybe even add new difficult parameter when begin a new game Normal and Epic )

    -Maybe make some chances for hunting: add new weapon "sling" for hunting small game; rabbits and fox. It would be ineffective for hunting any bigger game. When using sling time could slow down, so you could hit more easily for fast small animals. If use any other weapons to hunt small game you could get penalty for meat and fur quantity, because other weapons will ruin so big part of the animal. Wood spears could be only effective for hunt boars and wolfs, because those will attack you, so you could get close range. Bow could be effective for does, because those are wary animal and stay away for humans. Iron spears and crossbow could be only weapons that are lethal to bear and buffalo, because their bones and skin are so thick.

    – Add new building; well, alchemy shop and bee hive. You could built well to get drinking water, so could built your settlement far off from lake and rivers. At alchemy shop you could create potions from different kind off herbs; health and stamina potion for slowly regain health and stamina for few hours. Antidote potion to decrease poisoning level. Poisons for aiding hunting. Medic for flu and hangover. Bees would product honey and beeswax, to use honey for mead and pastry and beeswax for making candles.

    -Add snakes and poisonous animals that will sometimes bite you. You really rare have to eat spoiled food and rarely got poisoned otherwise.

    – Maybe skills and technologies should be bought / learn from NPC. I think it would increase NPC personality and importance if you must search certain NPC to be able to use skill point or bought new technology, after you have enough points to be able to learn or bought it, instead of just click it at the tech tree.

    – Chance trading dynamic. Different towns will bye and sell goods for different prizes.

    -Maybe add new quest category "town quests." For example Jezerica could request your town to sent them logs and linen to be able to create fishing raft and after you sent materials to them and visit the town you could see few new fishing raft at lake and for now on Jezerica would sell fish product for discount. Pigs could escape from Rolnica and they could request you for search them all over the map and sent some material aid to construct fence for pigs. You could add some weather event; cold winter, dry summer and so on that other towns would have to request aid for you to be able to survive. If you help them everyone from that town would like you more or if fail dislike instead. They could even try to stole materials for your warehouses to be able to survive.

    – Maybe add new main quest; When your towns grow and valley start to get more wealthy it will start to attract bandits at increasingly numbers. The king or local nobleman notice your growing city and will grand you a tittle and it will oblige you to protect people of the valley. So you must build different kind of military building all around map; barrack and watchtowers and after that you may see soldier patrols at main roads between cities and sometimes they are fighting with bandits.

    – You could train your worker NPC to be more effective. NPC:s could have few hours free time at the evening or if not placed to work anywhere they could go to random various hobbies: For example built shooting range and randomly hired NPC could go there to practice using bows and other weapons and after very very very many visit later the NPC would gain additional skill level to hunting skill. Other places could be; flower garden for farming, Chapel for diplomacy, training yard for extraction or something like that.

    – Happier NPC workers could be more effective. You could increase happiness by increasing your towns appeal and providing different kind of luxury goods for workers. Hunting trophy to hang at wall, silver and gold items. Candles and so on. Every worker would have different tastes for items he/she would like to have and they could decor their homes for those items. Maybe NPC could even get married for each others and move to live at same house and after that start to decor their home and maybe even have a children, so there would be more life for your town.

    – Maybe add some gigantic buildings for pre-determined locations at the map. Castle, Cathedral, palace or something that takes tons of different kind of resources and lots of rare resources (silver, gold, ebony or something) to build it. You should have to bring many wagon loads of good to build it and it would take years to complete it.

    Ok, enough writing. Now I going to do some field work and play MD to find out if there is something already at the things I have mentioned. :)) Hope that you can find something useful from my writings that can be add to game.

I'm one step away from uninstalling the game … I've been stuck for weeks, I've improved technologies and reputation, but it doesn't allow me more than 30 buildings … seriously … ??? … limit of buildings in a game of construction … ??? … it annoys me when they "improve" a game by limiting it instead of with new technologies and interactions.

  17. When will we see
    horses and Carriage horse because the transport is very difficult and feels like walking simulator

    – food // resource storage npc's doing nothing.

    – We need some placeable torches the night is so dark and feels like you have your own ghost village and in any other village is the same.

    – Better AI for npc's better cloth when hunting or fishing and farming to know what is doing actually and improve their behaviors.

    – Some traveler npc's.

    – Free to build your own house and watch tower and other things.

    – We need roads every beautiful village need them 🙂
    but anyway the game in early stages so far is very good 🙂

  18. somebody who actually knows, please answer my question. We know Toplitz is publisher, Rendercube is developer… right? Then why are people from publisher actually devs? Steam forums, a person with a developer tag, states they are a publisher, not a developer. If you look for render cube youtube channel, they only have videos of Fortnite gameplay from a year ago. I thought Toplitz had nothing to do with development, but it's clear that isn't the case. I'm so confused.
    I've been such a proponent for this game, saying you can't go by the development history of past games, because it's a different team making it. But I think I've been wrong.

  19. I love all the recent changes copied from the BETA branch. Fantastic!!!! In future update, could you separate requirement for maximum inhabitants and maximum buildings? My child is now an adult (many others to follow soon) so I am not looking for more people. I need to build more houses for the adult children to start their own families.

    Unfortunately uniegost' quest chain is bugging out after building the Palisade for Dagobert. Twice on Different Savegames.
    I am still waiting until something happens, but the hunt for the Wolves never happens

  21. hello, I am a French streamer on twitch and I am contacting you to urgently inform you that since the last update the game has become unplayable! many bugs are blocking the game! Although many people have reported it on steam I take the liberty of contacting you in order to list them for you: 2 story quests are blocked that of alwin and unigost because the hermit hunter to whom we must speak appears on the radar at more than 6300 meters or off the map which prevents us from unlocking the increase in buildings.

    The characters appear on the roofs of the houses and therefore cannot work or they are in the attics of the houses which also block the quests because we cannot speak to them even when trying to disconnect the game and return to the characters part. blocked stay blocked!

    There is a huge problem with storing food when we want to go from level 1 to level 2 because the storage does not recognize food and all the characters are hungry once we level up the storage. have storage 1 and storage level 2 so that the problem does not arise but that counts us a building

    The fact of not being able to adjust the gamma of the game when night falls! Indeed at night we do not see anything as well as our audience who watch the game on our channels. It would be possible to have in the options a gamma adjustment in order to that spectators like us streamer can solve this because for hunting at night it requires a huge work for our eyes and for the visually impaired community where anyone with eye problems

    The rest are bugs that we get to fix when we quit the game and come back!

    We understand that your game is in alpha and that it is normal that we encounter bugs and besides we are delighted with your game which is magnificent and the regular patches that you do thank you for that but concerning the bugs that I have given you quoted and which are also told to you on steam among others we are numerous not to be able to play any more because we cannot advance any more in the increase of our village!

    Thank you for settling these concerns urgently so that we can continue to present your game on our channels for the pleasure of the spectators and of course our because your game is really magnificent. cordially
