I tried to put these Splitters this close together but the game wouldn't let me.
Must have been one of the patches.
nice orbit's for the swarm looks a lot like my first design
Bravo!
How many guns do you have shooting sails into each orbib please?
Great swarm design! It inspired me a lot for mine, thanks!
DUUUUUDE YES I've been building up to this!!! I just wrapped my head around what a main bus was and built a planet sized one that's tight, organized, and efficient.
This looks amazing and efficient, but at the same time it saddens me that your belts don't go all the way around the planet to join back to themselves.
It’s certainly very pretty…but good lord, all of that needs to be scaled up by at least x5 – x10. It is gorgeous no doubt though
Dude this is insane and looks epic.
Not one but TWO things of beauty. Well done, sir! ^.^
I tried to do a bus the first go but reset and didnt stick with it. Kinda regretting that after seeing this
How much science can this bus make per minute?
Your main bus a thing of beauty, thanks for sharing it with us. Using your main bus as inspiration, I've started one of my own on my most recent playthrough. I'm going to see if I can make it work as a wrap-around… at least for the main materials.
Damn and I thought I was being smart by slowly starting to evolve my main planet by replacing my original structures with logistic stations that receive all resources from outside planets.
This shit is crazy.
Do you know why you cannot put diamonds in a planatary logistics station? Is this a bug?
what do you need a mainbus for with all that logistic systems in place?
I've put 60 hours of gameplay into this game, I'm not great at it, but I know enough to know how much work this was and how beautiful it looks. Extremely well done, wow!
i never tried factorio or satisfactory. been more of a rust player past few years but gave this a go when it first launched.
this is like years away from what i can do but you are giving me great things to think about.
your videos have been very helpful dude, thanks.
Can you share your saved file, please?
and here i am plopping down facilities for production all around my starter
I have tried this design with a bus that goes around the entire equator, but every time i needed something it was a hassle to get items off and on the bus. Also the scaling is hard with this design. I had 6 to 8 assemblers aside of the bus, but with my new design i have 64. In the middle a interstellar logistics station and around the station assemblers making a single item.
Looks amazing, if a bit unnecessary. Visitor from Biffa.
i really don't feel like dsp is a game for main bus design you loose too much space
Love the work but i might be about to blow your mind: i stack my busses, 6 tall, 3 spaces between each stack. I use the 1/2 tall conveyor trick to feed splitoffs through the stacks.
The orbits of the Dyson Sphere would be better understood if you did a practical example, me thinks.
(The only thing worse than having to use math, is to listen to it being explained..this isn't an insult directed at you, just a general comment.)
I don't mean for the whole sphere, but just a quick snippet look into the "rinse and repeat" process for creating such a thing. (because it looks so phaquen cooool)
cheers Mr. Robot Man. 😉
just fascinating…
Its cool, but that main bus is taking up more than half the planet, LOL. The production number your going to need make the main belt impossible to use. 750 smelter large silicon ingot factory for processors just to get 40 quantums a sec.
