I hope that the performance definitely gets improved soon…I have both XSX/PS5 and the PS5 feels more next gen for now as far as the Haptics and the New UI…The XSX feels more like a XBOX ONE XX for now…I hope they fix the dark
screenshots issue that has been plaging the XSX and One X…supposedly there is a fix in the works…I might just get Resident Evil Village on the PS5 because of basically no performance difference plus the Haptics and the VR support

The UI is awful & Controller needing non-rechargeable Batteries is laughable but besides these things, it rocks..
Backwards compatiblity is very nostalgic, familiar fun.
Im curious to use a PS5 but if there's gonna be a PS5 Pro potentially, I'd say wait.
Great games are going to come out whatever. there is no point in having powerful hardware if you can't use it. PS2 was more powerful than the Dreamcast, but it was extremely rare to see it on screen. The PS3 was alot more powerful on paper than the Xbox 360, yet most of the multi plats performed much better on the 360 it wasn't until very late on that multi platform games on the Ps3 where on a par with the 360. only in house titles every really made much of the PS3 I don't think we ever saw the PS3's potential.
Gamers shouldn't be surprised by this at all. the PS4 was all about making the console easy to work with again for developers that's what made the original PlayStation great, and Sony have made a great start this gen. I don't think it will take long for Microsoft to sort out the performance issues, Phill Spencer has been great for Xbox Gaming,

I have a coworker that doesnt understand how optimization works. I remember having a similar conversation with him about how early DVDs didnt look as good as their laserdisc counterparts because the process of transferring the master to the DVD wasnt fully understood yet he thought i was crazy.
I had an Xbox one X and recently upgraded to the series X. In the meantime, I decided to purchase a monitor (1440p, 144hz). I began running warzone on my Xbox one X as soon as the monitor arrived, and I had just downloaded the new textures update. I was able to run at 1080p 120hz, and it was as smooth as butter.
I was excited to use my Series X the same way, but I have a pretty noticeable stutter on warzone now. Cold war runs beautifully on the Series X at 120hz, but warzone is running very poorly. Do you have recommendations?
I changed my resolution back to 1440p and 60hz based on some Reddit comments, and there is no stutter now. The issue is, I’d love to be at 120hz… and I wish I still had my Xbox one X which ram flawlessly.
