  1. You know, rather than slowing releases, what that could mean is they're just going to go past what they originally were going to stop at. For instance, after travelling to all the areas of this world, the siblings could go to another one.

Also I've been saying this for months already, but Genshin events do suck compare to events in their other game, Honkai, so they can make good events for a game like this, they're just not doing so for Genshin for some reason.

  2. I don’t know if no one will be playing the game in 10 years. WOW still has players and so many other games still do. I think people are just mad about how they want to extend the time of releases. As long as I have fun I’ll keep playing. Honestly I don’t feel like I’m starved for content because I don’t spend the whole day playing this game or I’m not a content creator. 1.4 has been the worst update but it gives me a breather from spending or spending insane hours farming.

  3. So for players that want to quit due to lack of content, they need to understand that Genshin is a side game right now. If you're at endgame, you only have to play for like 30 minutes to an hour to get everything done. That's not a lot of commitment, so you can spend time doing something else. I know everyone wants to play more, but it's nice that you don't have to commit 4-5 hours everyday to it. Yes, the game is moving slow, but it doesn't take up much of your time, so why does it have to move much faster? Players just need to slow down instead of wanting the game to speed up.

Only people I could see quitting due to lack of content are content creators, since most need new stuff to make content on. But for everyone else, Genshin is not the only game that exists.

  4. Fnaf players after a Fnaf game is released: yeah, i found all easter eggs in 3 days.
Genshin players after Genshin is released: Alright, now let's wait for 13 years to know the end.
If they'll do this, i think it's better to just watch the cutscenes or read about how's the game going at Genshin's Wiki, bruh.

  5. Guild Wars 2 had similar plans and It didn't work well for them in the long term. Slow updates and paid expansion regions just destroyed the playerbase and now it's just a shadow of it's former glory. And that game had competitive PVP and World versus World PVP mode too, but players left quickly because updates were so slow and they weren't free (yeah I know it's B2P, but Genshin Impact showed that you can make billions with well made FREE game, so b2p is not an excuse).

  6. A lot of of us have already hit a wall with endgame content and have started to drop Genshin. Might be seeing y'all again when my great grandkids finally get to explore all the regions in patch 50,000,000.1

  7. honestly I agree that most people wont play this game for that long. I played league for almost 7 years for example, but there was always new content, and all my friends played it.

most of my friends dropped genshin, me and a few friends are still looking forward to new content, but it became a side game at this point

  8. Y’all acting like it’s easy to make game content, I’ve seen spoilers for the eula quest and it’s in progress right now, there’s gonna be so much more in the future look on the bright side of it for people who enjoy the game

  9. It's very possible that the game will have a 10 year plan. The five year plan may have been their original idea if the game didn't do quite as well as it has. I will continue to play the game to see the story out. The updates haven't been so bad though yes they need a bit more. Most likely a new area will come out people will make videos celebrating it and then complain again. pushing though content faster then they intended is something for them to deal with, and as a player base we need to realize will take time to correct.

  11. Thing is even if players are quitting mihoyo has already made way more money than what they wanted in the first which means even if players quit mihoyo might still not change the unbelievably slow pace of content

  12. I don't think they're "slowing content", I think it means instead of making content up to the next 5 years, it means they're making content up to the next 10 years.
