Looks like the new biome/whatever vote will be in the client rather than Twitter. Overall, that’s a fantastic thing. Twitter sucks and I’m sure there are was more minecraft players who don’t have Twitter than who do

I think this is directly related to Mojang giving Bedrock Edition to everyone who already owns Java Edition (And vice versa). They're probably planning to hold the vote within the Bedrock client (Which makes a lot more sense than using Twitter), but of course don't want to exclude any players who only own one version of the game. This is great, as it allows a better audience to vote, ensuring that only people who actually own and can play the game can vote, and allows people who can't use Twitter for whatever reason to join in.
And this also means there is less of a chance for some big Minecraft influencer to get their 9 year-old army to turn the tide of the vote!
The one thing I always look forward to every update is your run down of the rare and discontinued blocksitems!!

We carved out an underground facility to store them and when llamas came out, they kept spawning in there as well as we were on a mountain

For context on the "leak", these strings are probably in the files to get translations ahead of time. Sometimes programmers will add in the text they need ahead of time so the translations will be ready by the time the feature needs to be released. So it was put into the game files purposefully, although this is definitely unintended consequences
The live thing will be only on bedrock edition
one thing to do before 1.19 is get How Did We Get Here, as in 1.19 there will be the added step of going to the deep dark to get a sculk shrieker to get Darkness

do a warden storage machine , so we can store wardens for later use and make them not dig down to despawn
