as you may have noticed Minecraft content on youtube has had a major change: it’s becoming more fast-paced and modernized, and in my opinion it’s also became less authentic. Here’s why.
I talk about how social media like Tik tok lowered people’s attention span. And with TommyInnit and Mr Beast Gaming pushing what content is required to keep up with competition, people are forced to try harder to get with the times. It’s a fight for attention, and in some ways this change is good, but it also means we don’t get those “old” styled videos anymore.

I agree with most everything you've said here and have been thinking this for a while
As a Minecraft Youtuber, or just a Youtuber in general, it's hard not to fall into the trap of "only doing things that will appease the algorithm / only copying what works for others, etc." and going sicko mode with that concept lmao. We have to remember that it's important to stay grounded in who we are, and to make content because you truly enjoy what you're creating, not solely just chasing the numbers. While I honestly believe that it is important to try your best to keep improving your retention, and to try to get more views and to improve analytics wise, it's important to not lose yourself in the process.

Don’t worry minecraft will rise from the “This is sucks” grave, but it will probably go back into that grab over and over again because that are what games are. A thing you like for a while but the more you play it the more you get tired of it and hate it, much like a child.

this is the reason I like 100 Days videos. They are usually around 30 minutes to 1/2 hours. And many of them dont have the king of the algorithm SUBTITLES, unless its a live 100 days video if you know what i mean (e.g sb737) and even then most of those live 100 days dont have subtitles!

Tommyinnit definitely changed Minecraft content for this generation the subtitle the hyper music the editing like every thing Im starting to use subtitles on my videos as well it makes it better but I want my videos to have personality more which it doesn't but I have to improve on it but yes u earned a new subscriber ❤️
