Monthly Game Pickups January 2021

This is my monthly video game pickups series here at PAB Games and I want to make sure I post this video at the end of every month in the year 2021. We will go on a journey in video games history, both with retro games and also modern games. I will share these video games, they could be PS5 games, PS4 games and of course older games as well.

Let me know which of these video games you have played and which ones you like. I hope that by the end of the year, we have gotten to show a lot of PlayStation games and other platforms as well like the Nintendo Switch.

So many new video games are coming out this year and I’d love to cover some of my favorites not forgetting the ones from the past that I’ve been working at getting. The PS5 games coming out this year will be revolutionary, I hope I can add some to this collection!

  1. Awww yeah I see you got that Tomb Raider set! Great games. Really cool that you got the special covers too.

I can’t believe that sealed Heavenly Sword! And that Xenoblade Chronicles sealed for $10? A Nintendo game sealed… for $10? All the luck this month.

    Nice pickups dude.

  2. Dark Souls is definitely worthy of your time. I think it is the best game to start with in the Souls series. I actually would recommend tracking down the remastered version. But definitely start with the original Dark Souls before you start getting into all the other games including the updated Demon's Souls on PS5. Dark Souls to me just seems like an adult version of Zelda. It is what we might have imagined the world to have been like running around as Link back in the 80s and 90s, just a more mature action rpg for adults. I actually sometimes think of it as closely linked into the horror genre, because it is a survival of the fittest kind of game. It does take a lot of patience, but there have been times I have been frustrated with it, take a break from playing for days or weeks, then come back to it and get past the point where I was stuck- great sense of accomplishment. It also helps to watch videos of people giving you tips on how to survive playing Dark Souls it definitely might prevent a little frustration. The game does not hold your hand.
