There's a very good reason why some of us left RWBY in disgust. Plot holes and story/character inconsistencies began to pile up at an alarming rate. The people writing the stories for RWBY are literally putting out grade-school levels of workmanship.
So how exactly are we gonna make money outside of the show? Ozpin: well we were banking on that DC comic and hoping for more books How that go? Ozpin: not the way we wanted and that's what's important. The manga reboot is doing good but not enough to salvage our entire company. Camp Camp and Red vs Blue are our only saving grace and those might come crashing down too.
I enjoyed RWBY in the early days and only watched the later stuff out of commitment to finishing the story but volumes 1-3 I got some Star Wars vibes from it

Well what could you expect? They've been squandering RWBY as a show for years and the games tended to be generic with a RWBY skin on them. It seems like RWBY will be going under as a show with only one distinction: It wasted so much more potential than the average show.
In my opinion, Volume 8 was their last chance to bring RWBY back to the kind of quality it had before Ironwood went insane, and they made a monkey out of Jaune. Unfortunately, they only made it worse. I do not plan on watching Volume 9, even pirated. Good night and good luck, RWBY . May you be reborn in the hands of someone who gives a damn.
Poor RWBY. Being a great show, only to have games that just shut down or suck. I could she RWBY be like Fire emblem: three houses in the ways that you train your skills and talk to character and make a team of 4 to go hunt a grim but that idea is probably too much to dream for
I remember the days when Red VS Blue was made by some guys recording HALO:CE multiplayer, when Monty was some dude who made a cool Master Chef VS Samus Aran animation with a… weird ending, and when Ray William Johnson was YouTube's biggest content creator. Oh, and when HALO 3 and COD 4 were the greatest things to happen in Human History since sliced bread.
Now we have a modern world so politically divided it makes the Cold War look sane, real quality content creators getting trampled by the overlords of YouTube itself, and the gaming industry is contaminated with loot boxes and this accursed atrocity called Fortnite.

RWBY Amity Arena was such a fun game, I miss playing it so much.
