  1. I got this yesterday and could not stop playing once I started, 5 hours with a 2 hour break then back on for another 6.. I soon realised that I'd messed up bigtime by doing everything to soon building sewing, food storage a hunting lodge a barn and wood storage without being prompted, I think I broke the game as I could not allocate work to any newcomers so their mood dropped to zero and they all left.. I started a new game and for me everything changed, I realised that Alwins quests at Gostovia are the longest (up to 7 by the end of the 2nd year) and are the best to follow for progression but on my first play I somehow missed them..

my advice would be do not get ahead of yourself follow the storyline and complete the quests one by one and do exactly what it tells you to do, after all it is early access, but what a fantastic game at this stage in development one of the best I've ever played 1010

  3. That’s the exact spot I started building my first town at, it’s just right! I saw your first video on this game after never hearing about it and bought it and it is my new favorite for sure thanks a lot!

  4. Much better area for building GE – great vid and series, I've already bought the game after seeing your first episode and I'm really looking forward to when I can get playing this myself, I would like a mode that let's you play and build without the confines of the story but that aside it's such a good game. Keep the vids coming, enjoying every minute.

  5. Build a new house first, then assign yourself to it before destroying the previous house. Same with your followers.
I saw an option to "move in" somewhere once. Can't find it right now but I'll update here if I find it again. I'm hoping that option will take everything from storage in your old home and move it to your new home.

  6. Ooohhh, Love the new spot!! It's going to be so much easier for you to lay out your village, and be so pretty! Can't wait to see the other seasons there.

Thought on moving your townies; since you can assign people to the houses, perhaps building one (or two, whatever it will allow) and assigning them to your towns folk before tearing down their current houses would keep them from "going homeless", and should start them making the journey to the new location too, I would think. 🤞🤞

Loving this series (but I like them all, so, lol). Tyfs! Best of wishes to you and yours.

  7. I have noticed knives have a value of 30 each in my village, I go to sell them in another and they are only worth 11 coins now. The 200% is on my knife that existed before the last update that killed their resale value. Now i have to go deal with the farms not being fertilized when you create them.

So many things need serious MATH balancing here. Flax. A stack of flax somehow weights 2 times as much after being threshed? FFS… Same with firewood, somehow it weighs more after splitting.

  8. Can't just pick up a village a move it. Relocation takes work a lot of work, I hope riding is implemented soon, so I can wither move faster across the landscape or build a carriage to transport stuff. Relocation as I said is intense especially if where you want to go is far away.

  9. HA HA HA HA This is were I built at the start! I Am Planning to move over to the North. In between the Two towns next to the mine and Marshland.

    Thoughts?

Also anyone else having issues with your wife who was a villager returning to the village at night. Then becoming duplicated and ceasing to be able to interacted with?
