  1. Yeah this game isn’t fun when you’re the only average player on the squad going against sweats because you’re teammates can’t even put on a fight. Can’t blame you with the compliment

  2. I am by no means excusing the inclusion of mixing in high level players to that degree with press that are trying to get a feel for the new additions but as someone who's at least really decent at some other PvP games I feel like it gets to a point where it's incredibly hard or downright impossible to not play at your best or tone things down without it feeling really bad or making it seem like you're purposely going easy on the people you're against which in my experience, the couple times I've managed to do it you get people who are mad at you on either side for "throwing" if that makes sense. They should definitely have separate events or play tests for people that aren't press that are of way higher rank

  3. The problem is that this is literally Apex matchmaking. I'm a hardstuck plat and most of my games have silvers on my team and the lobby is filled with apex predator trios (in casual). Ranked is the only playable game mode and even it has problem

  4. Honestly, this season is already ass. The problem is not getting third partied, the problem is the fact that the points of interest are shit in this game, and they have been for a long time and the loot pool is pure garbage. Make the maps smaller, give me better and more loot and make locations that are actually fun to play in (like skulltown, fragment, skyhook). In the current state of the game, if you drop hot you most likely will get a p2020 and no ammo, meanwhile your enemy gets a purple armor and a L-star with 300 energy ammo. 80% time I struggle to find loot, so I'm forced to craft ammo and heals just to have a decent chance at fighting. After I’m done crafting shit, everybody will be dead or there is only a few teams left. Crafting is slowing the game down in the most retarded way possible. Apex is a cash-grab game at this point and I hate to see it be like that.

  5. This is kinda how it’s like for fighting games sometimes, they get pro players to present the game in the most boring way possible because not only are they trying to win at all cost, they know absolutely nothing about the game and are still trying to win. so you just see them pressing the same buttons over and over and playing hella defensive. This happened to initial gameplay reveal from actual players for KOF15, idk why devs do this.

  6. Nobody thinks the map is too big? Every match I get to the top 5 squads without even hearing a gunshot. They need to add more squads or add a second drop ship. I’d rather deal with 3rd parties than wait a whole match just to have one firefight.

  7. That's facts you get a good placement match where you couldn't find anyone, your next hour of Apex is as if the game thinks you're Timmy on steroids, you only find absolute sweats and your team mates installed the game before playing with you

  8. TBF you're right, as a competitive player myself for years and i mean i have been since quake 3 unreal halo1,2,3,etc. I feel that you need to give moderate players a space to have fun and feel their own universe to grow up. For example in halo if you wanted to go full hardcore you played MLG playlist which was essentially a different version of HALO both 2 and 3. But if you played Slayer it has lot of items and less speed and different starting weapon and maps.

We have to address this cause , even if i like to ge hardcore all day, those who pay for lootboxes aren't the enthusiast, hardcore, pro players are the other half which is a majority. I feel that a prestige system would help to identify veterans in pubs. Like to get out of prestige 1 you need to be above 1.5 k/d and certain amount of wins per season, and the next one above 1.8 and wins and the next one 2.0 and wins, and you will have at least a way to set the lobbies for people that likes the game but aren't that invested to learn the hardcore tech skill and so on.
