  1. Hard disagree on your covenant take I'm afraid – doesn't add to the rpg aspect of the game in anyway (oh, my bubble is teal instead of red, how thematic!), and only serves to unreasonably pigeonhole specs into specific covenants.

You complain that the way stats have been designed allows for easy swapping of specs, but that all means nothing when switching spec means the covenant you are now in does nothing interesting for your new spec.

  2. Have not bought an expansion since Panda, and I'm not about too now. Classic was fun, but that even got old after like 6 months. Built in ad was WAAAAAYYY too fuckin long man. I understand you gotta make that paper, but a little balance. We already get ads watching your videos.

  3. The notion that Blizzard is locking off content behind covenants isn't inherently bad in a vacuum, but the way they are doing it – and the reasons they are giving – are bad and disingenuous. Every expansion we get new tools to add to our class: Capstone abilities, new talent rows, WoD Perks, Artifact Weapon Actives, Class Legendaries, etc; only this time, those new abilities and game-play elements are arbitrarily locked behind a cumbersome, semi-permanent system.

And its not just abilities that are being restricted. Unique mechanics that make dungeons stand out from each other are now locked behind specific covenants being able to access those mechanics as well; mechanics that historically have been free reign for anyone to use to the best of their abilities and knowledge, able to be taken into account when crafting strategies and create fun and dynamic game-play scenarios – now arbitrarily cordoned off. Even checkpoints in some dungeons like The Mists of Tirna Scithe have been removed for the general population, and then had access locked behind having a Nightfae in your party as a perk of that covenant.

The methods they are using to instill "meaningful choice" and "identity" into the covenants involves the hollowing and hacking away of core expansion features, instead of creating something new and exciting. It's disappointing.

  5. Eh, I’ve found that the raids and dungeons now are just better than they used to be. I couldn’t stand the 128 dungeons of classic and TBC that were just wings that played almost exactly the same with the same mobs and boss difficulty as the last. At least TBC offered challenging dungeons though.

  6. Expansions have been a pattern since wrath.

    Wrath-Amazing
    Cata-Bad
    MoP-Great
    Warlords-LOL
    Legion-Great
    BfA-Meh

So hopefully the pattern comes back and we get a good expansion

  7. The only reason I don't play WoW anymore is all these Daily and weekly Timers that are no fun at all. I feel like if I want to accomplish anything in the game I have to do them so I rather don't play at all

  8. I think with Mythic + being a thing every season should introduce 2-3 new dungeons. That would also bring in new loot to the weekly chest. M+ is one of the best things added to the game ever and they could expand on it more.

  9. Torghast was literally ripped off of Castlevania Sotn and streamers do get better drop rates. I Iwatched Tradechat clumsily have Invincible drop. I have been farming Invincible since 2008.You sold out man. You said way too much good about this expansion. I expected a negative video (and rightfully so) and it appears you are actually giving it a weak pass. Unsubbed.

  10. What is it with WoW players and having to gauge a games "success" to validate their reasons for playing it?

Seriously, no other fanbase does this. When a new mortal kombat gets released you never hear its players saying "will it succeed?" because they just play the game they want.

  11. The mic quality is crystal clear, might want to turn down the top end as all the whistles are coming through 🙂 otherwise it’s great and I’m glad your getting sponsored.
