My thoughts on the new spiral abyss changes, going through the new blessing, leyline disorders, enemies and a few of the teams I have run in it so far. I have clips of my full floors 9-12 clear at the end of the video as well as a couple of teams i tested on floor 12 for fun.

11-2 is the most annoying floor
Happy new year!
So many small mobs. This is severely bad for people who have single-target carries.
But much easier for people who have CC characters.
If you have Venti, Zhongli, Albedo, anyone who does CC, that can really make it easier for you (it's still bullshit though), otherwise it is frustrating.
Unfortunately my mains are single-target dmg carries, not CC. So fml
the difference in whale damage and poor guy damage is insane.
hey krush nice review. 11 is indeed more mechanically challenging thn floor 12 this time specially 11-2. Floor 12 is actually extremely easy.
i did 8/9 in first try of 12. took me 40+min to 6 star 11. also razor is actually very strong here since he can break shields pretty fast when ult is active.
beat abyss but floor 11 (esp 11-2 and 11-3) was an absolute nightmare for me as a dolphin. used klee xiangling sucrose jean top, and fischl mona barbara diona bottom. felt like 12 and 11 should be switched since cleared floor 12 literally first try right after.

I have pretty good team consisting of Fischl, Xiangling, Barbara and Chongyun but I can't for the love of God put together a second team or split my characters to two working teams. Furthest I got so far was floor 10. Boohoo. I finally got Bennett and Kaqing from the current banner (no Albedo for me apparently, just as I got no Zhongli or Ningguang, Geo characters hate me) but I'm short on leveling materials. I guess it'll take me a while to succeed at Spiral Abyss…
That thumbnail tho. Geo's got the most classy units.

Nice stuff. Do you have a snapshot of the stats/gear your two teams had for the clear footage? Just trying to get an idea of the benchmarks to try and strive for. Artifact wise in particular.
I finished the new Spiral abyss really quick, floor 12 was so easy.
This abyss is way easier. Abt floor 11-2 there are cheese strats so just follow those. 9,10 and 12 are really easy like wtf.
im pretty sure i could do floor 12 but floor 11/2 is kinda blocking me… and I'm to lazy to make a strategy for it lol
Thank you for the informative video, I just reached AR 45, spend all my fragile to get as many artifacts as possible and my luck has been garbage so far but I think I will finally able to clear Abyss 12 before it reset in 2 weeks, I'm thinking of investing more on my Ningguang, hopefully I can buy and get the BP weapon cuz it will be perfect for her
Imo not really. But it makes shield breaking easier. Which tbh if you have a claymore in your team you don't need anyway. Just makes sure you have enough ER for floor 11.

Whats your noelle build?
So many level 90 characters. I'm AR 48 so I'm not that far and I have a lot of level 80 characters, but the thought of how many resourses are needed to level any character to 90 is just nightmare indusing. I'm only going to do that with my Klee and my Zhongli, at least for now. To be honest I almost never play abyss becouse it feels like you need so many different characters from different elements all relatively high leveled and sometimes a single chamber can stop you. Like, I'm still in level 7 and what happened is that I can clear first chamber of level 1 in a minute or two, but chamber 2 takes me almost 8 minutes, if I can even clear it at all. Then the rest of the chambers for some reason can be dealt relatively easily, but that one, that…!
I agree with Krush, this abyss is more of annoyance than gating tbh. Energy drain on 11 and the invisible tanky fatui at 12 to waste time 😅

I never cleared previous Abyss 12, because I couldn't be bothered to level Bennett for a second pyro character. This time around I went in completely blind (except knowing the gimmick of floor 11), and I crushed everything from floor 9 through 12. Got my abyss namecard, and called it a day. Definitely easier than before.

Krush, do you think it's worth it to get C2 Albedo if I accidentally got C1 Albedo relatively early in my pulls? I play on 2 accounts and already have C0 Albedo on my other account and plan to leave him there, but on my main account he's sitting at C1, and I am guaranteed to get him again on the next pity because I got Qiqi after his C1. Is C2 enough of a boost to make it worth it? Will it be noticeable enough compared to C0 on my other account to provide a somewhat different experience?

I personally think this Abyss is a little better as it isn't gating anyone who didn't build a pyro dps. I never really got far into 12 because what's the point of you're not doing pyro, now I got 12 cleared with 6 stars
