  1. thanks for taking some time to address my question from the other week guys, really appreciate that.
im gonna move forward with the terrain project after listening to all your thoughts on it.
My dream table would be an overgrown forest-ruins-battlefield type board. So that is what I am going to work towards
Making actual trees is a bit intimidating so I am going to start with some easy parts first. 4-6 ruins on bases with lots of greenery, 2-3 'forest' bases make from vehicle wreckage and then a few craters. after that I'll see where I am at.

  2. Hey man those W&N series 7 are absolutely legit. Last two I had lasted me 2 years before I had to replace them. With proper care that is. Lol Them and Artis Opus brushes. I use those brands and I'm never going back lol

  3. Tyranids got the best out of this update.
Things that went down: CC Carnifex (-5), Tyrannofex (-20), Flying Hive Tyrant (-15), Hive Guard (-5), Devilgunts and Warriors.
Things that went up: Zoanthropes (+5)
Also we can now put our big bugs back into Tyrannocyte.
Bad news is I do not seeing Tyranids getting a codex until the end of the year or beginning of next year.
As for Interesting FAQs that could be really good. Now Thousand Sons get an extra 6 inches on the Psychic Actions because of their Battleforge rule. It could be very interesting.

  4. This episode is important to new players. I paint my army and build my army for years. When I finally want to play a game I realize I’ve got nothing but a kitchen table. Where I’m currently at I’m building to play. Deathguard. And I have found one person in the country that wants to play too. So it’s gonna be fun to start from almost the bottom for me and brand new for him.

  5. The idea of telling a new player not to start a new army and make a decision based on codex releases is a terrible one. It should always be an aesthetic/lore decision first and foremost. They're just starting out so there's TONS they have to learn about just making the models and basics of playing before they're going to become limited by the codex they're using – at which point the codex will be out by then. I would never tell a new hobbyist to start looking up a meta list for ideas, they gotta go with their heart or their heart won't be in the game. It's minature wargames not TCG afterall.

  6. 07:10 Complete luck on the roll is Great. It adds a bit of uncertainty which I think is a great despoiler. What did Patton say "Audacity, Audacity, Audacity!" Fortune favors the bold? there are all kinds of fun statement. 09:53 Red you are right though this removes the seize, and it comes down to one roll as you cannot choose like before. I think this also follows rolling fewer dice and all that that speeds up play. you still have many decisions to make when you deploy. I think more so now.

  7. Get D'Artisan Shoppe and Daco brushes from Amazon. Comparable to Winsor and Newton Series 7 in terms of performance. Also get the Winsor and Newton Brush Cleaner and Restorer from Michaels. Get the Abteilung Magic Gel for brush to keep the brush pointy. For the eyes use a
0.3 mm copic marker. Gets you perfect point everytime
