Ash portal is more over trying to get the better position mid fight rather that an escape it can be used both way but mainly ashes portal is meant to played aggressive . That’s just my guess from watching vids about her and how her abilities work

I think Ash will definitely have some use in big tournaments like ALGS. If she was recon then she'd be used in every single game but a repositioning ability and a recon/info type would probably be very useful imo

I’ll have to admit that I’m a bit disappointed that Respawn didn’t come up with a more unique ultimate for Ash. It’s too similar to Wraith’s imo while having slight differences

so who is better ash or wraith portal
my question is why is nobody mentioning the fact that Ash's portal is instant and you don't have a risk of getting shot at when making a portal. You can be on 1 hp and quickly teleport away whereas with wraith portal you'll probably get shit at while trying to get away. Ashley portal is defense and offense for solo or teammates and wraith portal is offense and defense but only for teammates since if you already run there the only use for a portal is retreating.
