QotD: Shurima for life. There's something so enchanting with the shifting sands revraling ancient god warriors and young cheerful stoneweavers.
Also, the returning character from the lore could be Ledros, a ghoul from the shadow isles trying to save Kalista

QOTD: Ionia because it's all about balance. The champs who promote balance are balanced in-game (a.k.a. Shen, Karma, etc.). The champs who go against it are… well… Yasuo, Zed, Yone, etc. So it's a pretty accurate place lore-wise and in-game.

I used to like Noxus purely for the fact that OG Swain was its ruler. Now NewSwain is in charge and I'm just 'Meh', plus OG Swain was a whole lot more interesting than TywinMalfoy Swain. That being said I was completely opposed to its warlike, imperial nature.
I HATE Demacia because they're boring and bigoted against mages and being a Witch I sympathise with their plight.
I guess I'd have to go with the Shadow Isles because the champs and their aesthetic speak to me as a goth and a very depressed, misanthropic one too.
Me personally, I would love to see Maalcrom from the Ashe comics become a character. He was so pretty and his ancient witch folk aesthetic really jived with me. I was super pissed when RIOT pulled a heel turn and made him a bad guy. Ashe was one of the first champs I mained and when I found out my beautiful ice flower was married to the ugly, man-bear-pig, muscle bound oaf Tryndamere I wanted to vomit. Maalcrom gave me someone to ship Ashe with but nope! RIOT had to tear that away from me like OG Swain.
Picture it: Because Maalcrom has ice powers he wasn't killed by Ashe's frost arrow, but merely suspended in stasis. He is awakened somehow and returns to Lissandra to try and combat Ashe, but he is conflicted. He still loves Ashe deeply and seeing what she has accomplished and the benefits of unity fill him with a guilty hope. He also beings to question whether Lissandra's course of action is the right path, but still doesn't want the horrors that lie beneath unleashed upon the land. Some of his lines could be like:
To Volibear: You gouged out my Queen's eyes, I'll gouge out your heart.
Killing Volibear: Your pelt shall grace my Queen's shoulders
To Ashe: Ashe what you have done is…incredible. But it must stop. NOW
Taunt Ashe: You thought you killed me my dear, but I am Frostguard
Taunt Ashe: Your mother died chasing her dreams, will you do the same?
Killing Ashe: Sleep my love, die with your eyes open.
Taunt Tryndamere: Really? You? I expected someone smarter/prettier/etc keeps interchanging
Kill Tryndamere: She's better off without you, muscle brain
To Lissandra: I failed you once my Queen I will not do so again
I could go on but you get the gist…
Personal favorite faction: toss up between Zaun and piltover. Techno magic is one of my favorite tropes.
Also I'm going to say that I prefer Noxus to Demacia as well. Noxus are vicious conquerors, but they don't lie about it. Demacia is founded on fear and hypocrisy, and I just can't stand them.

My Favorit Faction is the VOID a in their own way Evil faction that is literally unstoppable its just a matter of time before they win and that's makes them interesting plot devises.
QoTD; in terms of actual countries/ factions, it’s Freljord by a long shot. That being said, I’d LOVE to see a champion that’s one of Mordekaiser’s ghost generals. It mentions in his lore that if someone is was noteworthy in life, when Morse killed them, he’d make them into an undead general. I’d love to see a champion who has strong lore connections to him that could possibly synergies with him too.

I've always loved vikings and other Nordic/Celtic themes. I also main Ornn so my favorite region is easily the Freljord. Noxus is a close second.
