  1. This sounds like such a cool and thematic Codex! So many fun rules! I'm not a Death Guard player but I look forward to playing against them in future. I hope the future books are just as interesting!

  2. dude, there's a lot of stuff you didn't know about death guard i guess, half the new stuff for units you talked about happened in the 40k app a while ago (once 9th ed hit). example: daemon lord has been s7 for a long time, and chaos spawn have had a -1 leadership aura as well.

  3. As a DG player since 3rd edition, this book is kind of a mixed bag for me. I appreciate most changes, but there are a quite a few bummers.
-Fluffy lists with allied daemons got punished too hard imo
    -secondaries are hilariously bad
-keywords like Bubonic Astartes and DR are given too restrictive e.g. Defiler (if it's a nurgle daemon engine it should have DR) or fw Dreads (no helbrutes anymore)
-wargear options are rly screwed up. Pls tell me how a PM melee squad with X weapon profiles speed up the game…
-possessed should either get 3w or transports
-i won't be able to field morty in casual games if I want to keep friends
-hq restrictions are way to harsh imo
-I'll miss summoning on the fly and deep striking poxwalkers…poxwalker hordes don't seem fun at all
-mbh's don't grant cover anymore (but this weird space bong does…)

Don't get me wrong I really like most changes, but it's far away from being perfect 😉

  4. Plague marines datasheet is a mess, the way its written makes it look like you could take all 5 melee options in a squad of six.

Look at the special weapons bullet point, for every five models 1 can take 1 of these options, but having all the melee options on separate bullet points makes ot look like you could take them all at once becauae their irrelevant to each other . For every 5 models 1 can take a x weapon, and then the following point says for every 5 one can take an x weapon, meaning for every five models that doesnt have a x weapon they. An take an x weapon

I know im wrong but visualy that's how it looks.
