  1. I have just restarted and put my seasons to 6 days and I have to tell you it’s so much more of a pleasure. I have time to look around, explore the outer sides of the map, I took two whole days just mooching about! I put the food requirements up to 1.25 to compensate, it’s a real challenge because you need to wait longer for the harvest! I don’t mind starting again and I’d be happy to see a restart if you choose a new location to build.Btw, you sound just like RJ from Reach gaming!

  2. Thank you for getting these info out. Based on my experience as a dev (not for this game specifically) I'm not sure you can realistically expect to be able to keep your saves in an Early Access title. Many parameters you may have been relaying on in a version of the game may be edited substantially in the next one, making the former version conflict with the latter. That's why most of the times you'll need to restart for changes to apply.
    There are ways to fix this (minecraft for instance does this by updating chunks you haven't previously loaded, but your "played" chunks remain mostly as is. Works like a charm…. On procedurally generated infinite maps) but I'm not totally sure how I'd go about it in this case.
