  1. I for one, always strive for the highest FPS possible. 120 htz to a 60 htz definitely make a difference when you play competitively or want that slight advantage to that guy that’s running 60 htz. Like you said…”one inch is one inch” the idea is the same lol

  2. Will the asus have normal hdmi port aswell? Just asking because I,m thinking of getting one before i get a 30series graphics card. Also anyone know if I can move the screen up and down?

  3. Great video. So you think 4k 60hz is fine for someone who usually plays single player casual games? A higher framerate sounds amazing, but these HDMI 2.1 prices will be pretty high like you said. Not sure how long it will be before there’s any kind of substantial price drop.

  4. Thanks for your video. You remind me the size is a thing that need to be considered, on the other hand, I like LG brand by no 32 inch, never used ROG, is ROG a good brand? Good quality? LGs nano ips is so good

  7. Thanks for this video. This was very informative. I'm planning to buy a new generation monitor with 4k and 144hz, but I'm not sure whether to buy a 32" or 27". For my daily usage in my office i have a 5k 27" iMac and am getting used to this size. At home i have a really tiny and old FullHD 21" Monitor. How is gaming on a 32" compared to a 27". I'm afraid, that it is too big and for example fps shooters are harder to play.

  8. I'm not impressed with any of these monitors. Out of what was announced, the LG looks to be the winner. There's no mention of the local dimming on any of the other models and HDR 400 just doesn't cut it. I know the Asus 32" is HDR 600, but no mention of local dimming or if it's edge lit or not, at least the LG is announced with 56 blocks. It's not a high number full array, but still better then edge lit. I also believe the 28" Asus TUF will not feature any local dimming, most of the TUF line as of now do not offer it so I'm just assuming this going by their current line up of HDR monitors. I was really hoping Asus would re-release their PG27UQ with HDMI 2.1, this would be ideal with it's HDR1000 and 384 local dimming zones. Also after switching to a VA panel, it'll be hard for me to go back to an IPS panel with these mediocre features. I was hoping Samsung would announce their upcoming HDMI 2.1 monitors, they're doing great work with their QLED and VA panels. I'm holding off to see what Samsung comes up with but right now, the LG is the one to get. 4k would look great at 27", keep PPI in mind. They'll be more PPI with 27" than there is with 32" and so on. Granted we'll most likely never tell the difference but specs is specs.

  9. Would like to see a 55" plus smart monitor(without the TV tuner bit) – who uses a tuner these days anymore. Must have HDMI 2.1 wi -fi ect and all the good bits. That should totally replace a TV and do Netflix ect.

  10. It was stupid IMO for LG to sell the 144hz 4K monitor last year without HDMI 2.1, imagine having the hardware capable of running it (panel) but not the interface (HDMI 2.0), that sucks.
