▬ Information ▬
Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created for HBO by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss. Based on the fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. A Game of Thrones is one of the most successful television series to ever made and continues to captivate audiences all over the world. The series is set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, and interweaves several plot lines with a large ensemble cast. The first narrative arc follows a civil conflict among several noble houses for the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms; the second covers the attempts to reclaim the throne by the exiled last scion of the realm’s deposed ruling dynasty; the third chronicles the rising threat of the impending winter and the legendary creatures and fierce peoples of the North.

  1. They should do a sequel set 500 years after GOT where they are fully modernised with cars , planes and huge cities . The modern drama should be set around a cop trying to clean up a modern wintertown

  2. They could still fit Travis Fimmel in as Aemond if they aged the character up a bit or some non-Targ character. I would kind of be interested in seeing Jack Huston be a potential casting choice for Aemond though since he already proved that he can act incredibly well with one eye in Boardwalk Empire!
I'm mostly hoping to hear about Rhaenys Targaryen and Corlys and the other Velaryons at this point.

  3. Matt Smith is a brilliant choice for Damon Targaryen! Damon is a quirky, charismatic maverick. His good looks are the least important aspect of his character. We want an actor who can dig deeper and make the character his own.

  4. In defence of Matt Smith – he is an incredible actor; and I’m fairly sure you’d be trading handsomeness for acting skill given limited budget if they went in another direction. Matt Smith will play the duality of hero to some, villains to others, charming yet menacing etc. incredibly. I’ve really warmed up to him as an actor having first seen him in Dr Who years ago. Less confident with the other two castings simply because they haven’t been in as much.

  5. I need to know what happened to Aerea Targaryan. Hopefully some old Maester or septon will have some personal knowledge as to what killed her…..in a flashback or something…..we all need to know….that is too awesome a storyline to NOT follow.

  6. I would absolutely love game of thrones for the next thirty years, I would watch every single one although I'm skeptical that it will live up to the hype and absolute wonder that the original TV show has

  7. I'm only 2 and 1/2 minutes in but I definitely agree with Preston that I don't like this casting and Carmine (spelling?) nicely done I never would have thought of it but Travis Fimmel who plays Ragnar in Vikings would be perfect for Daemon Targaryen

  8. Matt Smith is a really good actor I'm guessing he did something different in audition and got the part the guy who's playing the King is a great actor too dead man's shoes is a brilliant film

  9. The actor you are discussing is Travis Fimmel who is a beautiful man with a haunting blue gaze, perfectly suited to play a Targaryen. Other actors perfectly suited to play a beautiful, mysterious, slightly bonkers Targaryen young and older: Toby Regbo (blond, strong presence, soft facial features, British – Last Kingdom), Alexander Dreymon (fair hair, okay presence, more masculine but still beautiful face – Last Kingdom), Alexander Ludwig (blond, Viking alumnus, quite strong presence, slightly asymmetric face but handsome), Jordan Patrick Smith (blond, Viking alumnus, haunting blue gaze, drop dead gorgeous, strong presence), Kellan Lutz (twilight evil vampire, has the looks and a sinister aura), Tom Hiddleston, Eddie Redmayne, Alexander Skarsgard. And that’s just off the top of my head.

  10. My problem with Matt Smith is that hes too homely in a family oriented way. Like.. hes the good guy next door you cant see even being close like Daemon. He looks too much like a nice guy basically, and the good ones, not the creepy ones lol.
