Do you remember pitching a service called rocket IPA to your Fanbase? It was a couple years ago, but I remember hearing you hype it up and because it was a service that also supported you, I decided to put what little money I had into purchasing a year-long membership. About three months into the rocket IPA service, problems started arising, leading many to file complaints and or ask for refunds. I wasn’t worried, I was just hoping the service would be repaired in a timely manner. What ended up happening, at least from my perspective, is that the people who were offering the service collected their money, and essentially said “fuck you” to those who paid for the product. No complaints were fixed, no apology was made, I certainly didn’t get a refund. It was ultimately a shitty thing to do to your audience. I’m glad you got your payday but you took somebody who was a dedicated fan of your content, and turned them into a hater in your comment section 👎
