When I first saw Mimi, I thought she was soooooooo cuteeee, but then I started worrying, because as you said, she’s a hydro catalyst character like Barbara, and since Barbara is a 4-star, it’s probably most likely that Mimi will be a 5-star, making her nearly impossible to get, and the only 5-stars I have are Lumine and Jean, so I doubt I’ll get Mimi unless she’s a 4-star and if I have good luck 😞

Lining up in-game events with real-world festivities may not be a great plan for Mihoyo in the long run. Your examples already show how the existing 4 events are quite close together. That list will stack up once you pile on more cultures. Humans often have traditions and festivals based on the seasons and harvest times, etc. And those things are kinda coincide around the world between cultures.
