So what do you think about this rumor? Also, what are your thoughts on this PS5 sales data? Do you think the PS5 will be able to compete with the Switch in sales once producing more consoles is no longer an issue?
I hate it
If gow, ghosts or gt7 go to pc it's a bye bye PlayStation for me, Ryan and Hulst are morons, don't mind waiting for pc versions.
Kena looks awesome. It looks like a Disney or Pixar movie that I can play.
I see all these people upset about pc getting the games I don’t care let the developers get that of money. And I see people saying it will make the ps4/5 obsolete I disagree I have a pc a pretty good one guess where I still prefer to game. It’s in my couch on my tv on my ps5 or series x so the real question should be how many Sony fans will refuse to buy a console because the games are on pc too? I’ll always game on console I like my couch so much more than a gaming chair and monitor.
Nintendo will continue to outsell both next gen consoles based supply issues. AMD is still having trouble producing chips for both Sony and ms, while Nintendo is having no such issues.
MH: Rise will be a huge boost in sales for Nintendo.
God of war is for most the reason to own a PlayStation. That is one franchise that would be best left on their own hardware. But hey it's their IP they can do what they want. But they should probably rebrand to first on PlayStation instead of playstation exclusive
@MBG, If you write the timestamps like this, it will show up in the timeline: 5:00 – Kena Upgrade
Dropping a select older high quality exclusives helps grow the PS brand, bc if these PC gamers want more they will have to get a PS5
I don't have a problem with it. I own both a PS5 and gaming PC. I'm sure future games won't come out day and date on PC, so I'll always buy on PS5 first, so I can play it right away. I played HZD on PS4 and bought it again on PC (for cheats), so I didn't have to go through getting so many fish bones etc to upgrade my satchels.
The cost of making AAA games are huge and the way I look at it is the more money SIE makes, the more SIE can grow and give us more and better great games. Gamers that are solely PC gamers will never buy consoles, so why not send them older PS games and help Sony make money. Also, cloud gaming is starting to become a thing now. I don't think true cloud will be a main thing for years to come, but eventually it well. Sony will need that extra cash flow to make upgrades and expand PS Now. Xcloud is going to be upgrading to 1080p and will eventually be 4K. I would like to see them upgrading PS Now and expanding it's capabilities to coincide with other cloud services.
I hear a lot of people say that they will just a get PC instead of a PS5. Will I'm having a new gaming PC built for me and it's costing me a little over $6.000. Remember games that can only be played on a PS5 and not a PS4 means you're going to have to build a PC with similar specs. Even if you build your own PC, it will cost thousands of dollars. I have an AMD Ryzen 5950X, 3090 and will have 3tb of Samsung 980 PRO NVME. That right there is over $3000.00. If people don't care about getting games day and date and willing to spend thousands, instead of a PS5 that will only cost them $500.00, go for it.
Remember last year when people said that we would only have 100 ps4 games working on ps5 at launch and Sony would force everyone to pay for ps5 upgrades because they didn't have "smart delivery" marketing…also Remember when CD project redd poked fun at shitty practices? What a difference a year makes when it comes to the truth coming to light.
Love your channel
Sony needs to be more transparent with what its true plans are with titles. Better communication never hurts with the fans…
Love the time stamps. Such a big help!
I could see some of the new ip's making the jump, but I can't really see Uncharted and God of War being ported, they are classic Playstation titles it'd be silly to tear them away from Playstation now.
What's crazy is PS2 till this day is king. Nothing has topped its total sales. I think the PS5 has a good chance of dethroning it
Ghost of Tsushima isn't even 1 year old yet!
I feel its only inevitable with the realease of xcloud looming games will be on PC…. maybye some will be within 6 months only time will tell how Sony sees the games market goes
What's interesting is that most gamers are clearly not going for the "most powerful" console.
I think a console is only as powerful as the games that are playable on it. Since xbox has none it is just a very powerful paperweight. Maybe they will somewhat catch up in a few years when they actually start releasing original content but since both Sony and nintendo won't stop releasing quality games either it will be way too late.
Glad i waited on Hitman 3 for PS5. 6 weeks later i just picked it up on ebay for £35. I''ll be doing the same for all games going forward. Certainly not paying £70 for games anymore. I don't care how good the game is. I'm patient enough to wait until these games are £40-£50.
Nope switch is on a completely different level Nintendo will and always be the dominate console winner no matter what trash Xbox, PlayStation or PC will do no match against Nintendo
Let people play old games who cares and let Sony make more money to bring us all better and better gaming experience in the future
I don't going to wait 2 years or more for great exclusive so PS5 exclusives games not going to be on any other platforms anytime soon anyway
ive been getting into days gone that game is pretty good give me the first lous vibes. love it. I'm glad I listen to you and played it.
I dont see ghosts or uncharted going or Spiderman. Possibly and old god of war but no current games
Give pc god of war the day ragnarok releases on ps5 then tell pc they'll have to wait ragnarok just as long … then watch ps5 sales spike cause once theyve played that first game theyre gonna want ragnarok asap.
Jim Ryan is literally the fail Spencer of sony and is going to ruin playstation
it's cool that PC players could play these games in the future. for me it doesn't matter I don't have a gaming PC but the option would be cool if I ever build one, would be nice to get a discount or upgrade for owning it on PS4 but that's probably super wishful thinking knowing playstation and sony's policies regarding cross platform so far..
It might be that Sony is releasing some games on PC to grow that IP and if there is a sequel that might be a console exclusive.
The games are relatively old so I don't see the harm in releasing them for PC – I highly doubt that there will be any simultaneous 1st party releases for PS5 and PC
I wish Nintendo released their games for other platforms – I love Zelda but I'm not a fan of their hardware
I don’t like Sony putting there exclusives on PC it devalues the PlayStation brand, I understand money is money but hopefully there won’t be many titles going to PC, atleast there not day and date releases.
Sony wanna make money and pc guys isn't going to buy a PS console so I have NO ISSUES with Sony putting they're titles on PC.
I HATE IT! I would rather like for first party go in PS plus collection than on PC
MBG The games they plan on releasing are old games so I don't see the big deal. They have made millions off those games and if they can expose it to another platform to make more money off of it then more power to them.
Thanks for the time stamps!
Some exclusives on PC is okay however games like GOT, TLOU, god of war, Spider-Man, uncharted, ratchet & clank are PlayStation’s identity, if anything it’ll hurt Playstation in the long run.
Sony needs to shed some clarity on how they intend to port games to PC. If Microsoft has done anything well in recent years, it is being transparent. Admittedly to a fault, and not always the clearest but they’ve put forth their best effort in that regard more than Sony has as of late. I don’t care if PlayStation games go to PC, but as a PlayStation gamer, I’d like to know if they are going to release on PC day and date or if they will be ported 1-3 years after release.
I think it devalues the PS brand honestly. If they keep bringing exclusives to PC why would I stay on fixed hardware with a monthly subscription?
here's a tip Sony fans Sony is in it 4 as much money as they can get. there not ur friends not ur mates and they will do the same thing as Xbox is doing making loads of money by putting there game on more devices and ill bet u they will copy Xbox with the own version of game pass and Y knot its knot like Xbox hasn't got 20000 plus subs at 15 dollars/11 pounds a month it all add up.
but as soon as it starts affecting playstation sales, you can forget about playstation games going to pc.
Really appreciate the time stamps. So important for people with busy schedules. Hope things are going ok for you & your family. Always appreciate all the hard work you put into this channel. Wish you all the best for 2021.
The leaks are just guesswork. Some guesses are reasonable but one is unreasonable and thrown in for controvercy. Yes Bloodborne, Uncharted Collection and God Of War are over 3 years old. Their exclusivity value is vastly reduced. They are even given away free on PS Plus. There's your clue. These could be ported to PC to create extra revenue without hurting the Playstation brand. That money could offset the cost of new games to avoid charging $70, which would create a huge negative backlash. The controvercial bad guess is obvious. Ghost Of Tsushima is not 3 years old and still has value, which affects the Playstation brand. I have yet to buy the game. I'm waiting for the price reduction tail off before it goes to PC. The port may be in progress, but I expect it to be released on PC around 3 years after the PS4 launch, once sales have been saturated.
