We need a God Queen Versus event. Sona vs Seraphine! But kidding aside its great Sona is getting that rework. The old kit Sona was too op she could even solo top back in the day. Even Soraka was at one point that op too she could jungle.
I play the Mobile version, does anyone know if this will apply to our Sona as well? Cause it should. Please.

i had a game today with seraphine. ofc she yelled sona 2.0— GREAT good job Riot. getting bullied. i also have to mention. one adc before we picked champions. told me he hate Sona.. i had to go something else..
Y'all just bad at Sona to me even tho I crush as Seraphine Sona still dominates if you're team can keep up without being scared. Shii even without team single fights are ez. I just hope my beautiful Sona will have her og look as a skin I'm gonna miss her too much
Honestly new Sona is so ugly that colourway is so bad and doesnt even match the rest of the game. Her face looks good but so does og Sona literal beauty

Sona already is a hyperscaling support lol, lategame sona is absolutely obnoxious to deal with.
I mean, this new passive is not bad, is great, but that means taking away her old passive? Her old passive is the most important thing in Sona's moveset at the moment, Sona can only do a good ammount of damage thanks to her passive, mastering the use of power cord is important to play as sona and is really fun to use, is one of the things that makes Sona so fun to play as, and power cord gives different effects like Slow an anemy or making an anemy do less damage
This champion has been through so much sh§t the last years, just because she's an overpowerd support, and they already announced she was going to have some changes this year after people harrassed riot on twitter because of Seraphine's release, Sona's name even got into top topics of twitter at that time, i just hope in the future she can also get a huge visual rework that she is also needing alongside Janna.
get her off solo lane and keep playing her support why not do that to lux get her off support

idk if Riot has noticed her most weakness, to my mind, is all her abilities need her to reach close to the enemies (Passive, Q and also R) while she is so so so so so so vulnerable, and has no cc skills except R with long CD and short stun time (1.5s is nothing to all the assassins or speedy champs). As a Sona main, I'm still suffering a lot.
While the change is pretty unnoticable, the idea that they have to change an older champion to make it more distinct from a NEW champion is… its like they are admitting they made a mistake with the new champ while simultaneously defending that they did nothing wrong :/
So instead of a Sona rework we got Sera 1.0.
