Activision and Imagic made the best 2600 games.
Wake me up….I must be dreaming!!! 👍👍
Garry Kitchen made some VERY excellent games! Remember Garry Kitchen's Battletank?
I hope they will do Intellivision games too. After all they came 2 years ago to the Intellivision homebrew booth at PRGE to ask a bit about the tech behind new games.
that's funny about the audio editor…I instantly thought the same as you when I noticed their press release mentioning Audacity as well 🙂
Noice.
This is amazing news!! I had seen something about Dan Kitchen in Retro Gamer last month but the whole new company idea is fantastic
I can not wait to buy new Atari games!
The thought of chasing a high score to win a patch makes me smile
How about a sequel to Spider Fighter? I broke a joystick or two playing it "back in the day"…
This is awesome news! A Pittfall 3 sounds cool or any Atari game sequel!!
Don't know if they can compete with current great Atari2600 homebrew games. There are some great titles out there. But I hope for more great Atari2600 fun!!!
Pitfall and Keystone Kapers are two of my favorite 2600 games of all time, would play them on my 7800 as a kid. I’d be very interested in Gold Rush, but I no longer have the hardware…
Cool update Phil! I knew David Crane, Garry Kitchen, and Daniel Kitchen had stuck with game development. As some others have been commenting I hope they branch out to other classic Atari home video game consoles, the IntelliVision, and ColecoVision too.
Sounds cool!
Awesome!
Sounds like great news, pretty rare to see this happen and with so many original veterans. Games look good so far, like there work of old but even better. 😀
Love it. Would love to see them give us a good old school wrestling game on the atari I know it has something but still
That's actually pretty cool. They are bringing the patches back again. I never got any back in the day. Though I had alot of patch worthy scores. I wasn't interested in them back then.
