Maximum Setting mode is available with Patch 2 for Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered on PlayStation 4 Pro, PlayStation 5, Xbox One X and Xbox Series X consoles. This allows game to run in 4K60FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, and uncapped to 4K50+ on PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

  1. I'm pretty surprised that the XOneX can't run this at a constant 4K/60…..the remaster is literally the PC version on ultra with a few extra minor changes. I'd understand this more from the original XOne and PS4 for the many obvious reasons but yeah I'm a bit shocked for a 2010 game. It is what it is though. Optimization I guess.

  2. The racer event “Title Fight” has very noticeable frame drops near the ocean in the later turns. Otherwise I haven’t really seen any problems. FYI: I also have the game on PS5 and it’s “maximum” setting seems to be using lower settings than the Series X version, but because of that I didn’t notice any frame rate drops.
