Nickmercs revealed on his Twitch stream that while he was returning to Warzone for the new Caldera map, it was only temporary, and that he was in fact looking to go pro in Apex Legends next year.

A lot of the MFAM wondered just how long Nickmercs would stick around for the new pacific update and Caldera map in Warzone…and Nick finally has an answer, telling Twitch chat he was only sticking around for a little while, because he was going to dedicate time to becoming an Apex Legends pro and playing in the ALGS next year.

After hitting Predator in back to back seasons of Apex Legends, Nickmercs says he’s eager to see how he stacks up in ALGS, and wants to give the pro league a try with his duo ItsDeeds, and was just looking to get 1 more member for their pro squad.

So while Nickmercs may be playing some Warzone for now, don’t get used to seeing him on Caldera, because his plans for the future are all based around grinding Apex Legends and making a name for himself on the ALGS pro scene. And if his Twitch viewers aren’t here for a big Apex Grind, Nick doesn’t mind, and plans to do it anyway.

  1. the only thing that makes him happy is people donating their money to him. Thats why he never 360'd back to halo, you know that game that made him happy all the way back then and launched his job thing, i still cant call esports a career. i still cant call it a sport, but hey neither can the olimpic council

  2. Not Hating on Nick here but you guys only love the fact that he plays more Apex then COD now … U don't want to be honest fine then I'll do it my self…. Not going to work. Nick can't win a 1v1 against Any of Theyse Top tier Apex Pros
..I like how Nick wants to Go pro but hey whatever makes " him Happy " like everyone Hyping him keep saying. Let him go pro how can u blame him he wants a new experience plus his community supports him that's fair… But it won't last The Apex Pro scene is Very Hard unless you've played this Game since it's early days….This Game competitive scene use to be fun to watch but hey u eventually move on.

  3. I think it is weird for people to think they have a right to say what people stream. I watch my streamers because they are entertaining not what game they are playing. It does not matter if they are playing Roblox or COD. It is them that bring me to the stream not the game. Nick should not have to keep addressing this. I do not watch Nick but I watch Tim and I love seeing him play with Tim. People have phases on what games they like and you should not be beholden to one game. Edit: Just small disclaimer Nick normally streams at times i am busy so I never catch his streams.
