Hiya Folks! We recently hit another milestone I once thought impossible. I want to thank ALL 50000 of you who accidentally hit that subscriber button. I’ve compiled all versions of Nightsong from Legion, Shadowlands, the original from Cataclysm and the slower one from my BFA-Night Warrior series. As always, thank you for your support, and here’s to 50k more!
Fun Fact from Neal Acree (composer): “Funny thing about Nightsong. When I wrote it, I was convinced that its song-like structure made it wrong for WoW in-game music and almost didn't submit it. Same thing with the song version of Anduin’s Theme.” (Old archived Twitter post).
Just think, 2 of the greatest soundtracks behind Invincible almost didn’t make it in-game!

Night Elves/Naga will always be the best race in wow! Just them having the best music,zones,aesthetics and characters proves this. They made the whole game happen.
The thing I love about Night song is it's not the typical wow soundtrack. I've always been a fan of the night out lore and I've always like the night elves storyline. Been play the night off since vanilla my night elf druid night elf hunter night elf Warrior or my originals that I started out with back in vanilla. When cataclysm came out the game brought in Night song and it's such an awesome piece and emotional. With the death of ysera it was a pretty sad moment in the lore the Night song made it hit more emotional tone. When I got the shadowlands I made sure I was spoiler-free so I would not know what to expect and when I got to ardenwald and did the dreamer storyline Jesus Christ it was fuckingawesome so far it's the best storyline in shadowlands. Of course that's my opinion but damn it was so emotional and the music solidifies how awesome it is with the payoff at the end. Very awesome combination you got a thumbs-up man
The fact Nelfs use that song event tho its also about their (ex) Queen Azshara is strange but still cool..Nightsong is on of the BEST wow songs…Speaking about Azshara..i want her back,redeemed!!!

I've been a Nelf since the beginning. Losing Ursoc, and the rebirth of Ysera had me in tears. I almost went Ardenweald simply because of that.

This is the Nightsong Suite. All themes subtle and major , written together. Masterful. Really really masterful.

What about the theme when the Winter Queen brings back Ysera? That seemed to be another version.
Also, I really hope that Tyrande will get her own version of Nightsong. Something like the original but with more heft.
